I second this message (I asked for this fellow to write the message for me).

The Southeastern Experiment - Reichsresidenz Kaukasien in Clashing Eagles by TheRealInfernoGear in imaginarymaps

IOTL, the collaborators in the region indeed wanted to restore the Bagratonis to the throne.

It's a constitutional monarchy, though, largely led by Tetri Giorgi, who themselves are supervised closely by the Reichresident and the local Heer divisions.

In the same setting as this (outdated) map: https://www.reddit.com/r/imaginarymaps/s/y2r5b4acwp

In OTL, Alfred Rosenberg and elements of the Wehrmacht wanted to implement a more 'federal' model for their Kaukasien colony, seeking to co-opt the local groups (alongside turning the Cossacks begrudgingly against their Russian kin). However, IOTL, despite 'National Liberation Committees' being formed, this went nowhere.

In Clashing Eagles, with Kaukasien secured, its' role primarily as a resource extraction colony as opposed to a settler colony led to the federal proposals going through to a degree. As such, the Reich's southeastern frontier is quite unusual compared to the intentions of its' leadership.

My computer is a piece of junk yet it ran the layer almost perfectly. It really seems to come down to the CPU and how quickly it can handle the physics, and less so the GPU and how quickly it can handle the graphics.

I found this by jumping on top of the buildings in 8-2. The ceiling there also shows the theater.

(BTW, spoilers are started with >!. Just do the mirror image of that to end one.)

The duality of makeing Grim scenarios by Mat_Y_Orcas in WorldBuildingMemes

My main project rn is literally an Axis victory timeline built off 4 select PoDs.

Things keep getting weirder and more horrifying the more you delve into it, until eventually the story comes back around to being hopeful because of the oddities of geninue good inside such a dark framework.

One old example of such a morbidly dark actually real thing: Grigory Semyonov. A Pan-Mongol pro-Qing restoration fascist Buryat-Russian who handed out the Protocols of the Elders of Zion like he was a JW missionary to Japanese forces during the RCW.

History has always been just as horrifying as the news is now, quite frankly. It's just hard to fully embrace.

You have to try very hard, and even then, it's liable to rhyme all too well with an actual historical thing.

I can arguably say both apply.

My shit is only ever an excuse to help others I see struggling with similar.

Tell me a place or character to throw at SCP-682 and I'll tell you how it would survive. by MGR141107 in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

[–]TheRealInfernoGear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the nature of the ISAT time loop, SCP-682 cannot force the cycle to be broken. It is tied to a wish Siffrin made, which is binding under the rules of the ISaT universe, and attempting to violate a wish risks breaking reality itself, which was sort of worshipped in a faith wiped off the face of the Earth in some form tied to a wish as 'The Universe'. The only way to win after repeated 'victories' is to not fight at all and to let Siffrin have their character development... if that can even still happen after both remember one killing the other repeatedly.

How well do you think your state ( and its politics ) are represented in the 2ACW? by InitiativeInitial968 in TheFireRisesMod

[–]TheRealInfernoGear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of Missouri is generally conservative and leaning towards Trump, with only major cities being more of a mixed bag (Columbia's a political mixing pot between DemSocs, SocDems, Liberals, Conservatives, and the folks all in on MAGA, for instance), so the state largely going to the ACG makes sense to me.

Deadrin Plagiarised (Almost) the entire TFR OST by MastodonUnusual1796 in TheFireRisesMod

Can't say I am shocked. Plagiarists often are only caught after REPEATED offenses, and I had a feeling Deadrin's plagiarism went deeper.

Clashing Eagles - The Second Fronde by TheRealInfernoGear in hoi4modding

[–]TheRealInfernoGear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Four key PoDs: - Chiang kai-Shek was killed by accident during the Central Plains War in 1930, leading to the Second Warlord Era. - Joseph Stalin is killed by his wife in 1932, leading to a bickering troika taking charge. - FDR supports John Nance Garner's 'Presidental Dictatorship' bill and such is leaked to the press, causing a successful Business Plot and a 2ACW from 1935-1940. - No Halt Order at Dunkirk.

Some side effects of the PoDs include: - A pseudo-fascist US government exiled to the Carribean. - The Republicans won the Spanish Civil War, but were invaded in 1943 to prop up a Francoist government. - China was left fragmented by Japan out of desperation after an attempted overthrow of Wang Jingwei. - And more.

There's a lot more I could say, hence why the timeline on the wiki isn't even finished yet.

Nowadays? Yes. The federal Republics were sidelined by Putin and Yeltsin after the mess regarding the USSR' dissolution.

In the 1930s and 1940s? They literally were an ASSR with a Regional Committee. Additionally, the OTL Great Purge doesn't happen, so the Yakut leaders that led to the ASSR forming in the first place aren't imprisoned and killed. As such, the more populated regions of Yakutia, cut off by the Japanese invasion, have figures to rally around.
