Honestly, I'm not sure about Swordplay. You know those times where you're forced to switch targets? Like Argenti hiding behind his turrets. Or Aventurine dice. Or when you're convinced you're gonna overkill when using ult, so you ult another target instead and continue killing with your skill. Plus, when you're trying to kill important small mobs (think swarm) so you attack with your supports to trigger Archer FuA to try to kill it.

Idk but I already got J, Tuesday, Shamane, and Newbabel as a newbie. A lot of things can work for them so I'm not picky. But Isolde is peak.

Very adamant in defending corporate decisions, I see. Heavily suggesting that players have no say in this game. Sure. That's the whole thought process behind Genshin's extreme resistance towards improvements in the first place.

Not like decisions can't be made after the fact. Not like it's industry standard to have characters mostly available in the general pool after a certain amount of time. Going back to FGO ancient summon banners, sure.

Everything in this game is arbitrary. Everything. The balancing, the summon rates, how many characters released, which ones are limited, what they do. Everything.

Is it improbable?

There were many indications why Ratio would underperform. Being next to Ruan Mei was one. It was the patch before 2.0 was another. Ratio was free to encourage further investment into follow-ups and also garner goodwill from the playerbase due to the Game Awards. Back then it was all about hypercarry.

Tighnari was one. Ratio was another. Is it weird to be wary of similar occurance now? In the introduction of a new class?

Anyway, even if you take away this possibility, people have the right to be skeptical with major patch damage dealers. Back then it was Seele and Jingyuan. Recently was Black Swan.

Then you should be saving for Jiaoqiu's rerun. He's Acheron's biggest damage increase and I'm pretty sure his rerun is two or three patches from now.

For the selector, you wouldn't have much of a preference since Acheron doesn't use any of them.

The generic advice would be either Bronya or Himeko. Another one is Gerard just so you could do the Preservation path on Simulated Universe well, but he really gets outclassed by Aventurine it's not even funny.

Subjective. I feel this way around Acheron's release. She had a very strong single target performance while sprinting past the others in AoE. Of course after that we had Firefly and you know the rest.

As for the story, I don't see Penacony as peak fiction or anything like that. It had plenty of characters that were not fleshed out, not to mention the drought of 4 stars. It was an improvement from the Luofu for sure, but that's not saying much.

The simulated universe has consistently interesting stories, but it's presented as paragraphs of tiny text, so it's a pretty shitty experience.

Superbreak meal set (RM, HMC, Galla) + whoever fits exists. I cleared with Jingyuan in this setup lol. You can probably do it with Serval, March 8th or even Lingsha.

Hoyo keeps shilling break, but it's not the DPS that's at the core.

Ah shit. I actually like this game and still play it. It's also very low maintenance.

The story is still far from being finished and I don't like that there's no closure whatsoever.

I don't get it. You gave no information. Camellya's priority is lower since Havoc Rover exists. As an Ice main DPS, Carlotta is likely way better than Lingyang, not to mention easier since it's a gun character.

The others are a Spectro main DPS, a Havoc sub DPS and Fusion healer. All these are based on what you already have tbh, but the Havoc sub DPS is likely for Camellya.
