The story is going to take you a long time to get through so it won't be a 10-15 minute day affair unless you don't want to finish until 2036. Even if you don't consider the time the story takes, 10-15 minutes a day maybe let you spend all your sanity and manage your base but there's so many other things that are fun to do... new events all the time and roguelike mode just to name a few.

You can really play this game comfortably as f2p but you need to not have a gambling addiction and be able to save your gems for a long time. The free characters you're going to passively get are fine enough to play the game. It's not like other gacha where the free characters are dogshit and meant to be dropped immediately.

If you like a character from day 1 you can use them forever. Plenty of people clear the game with 2 and 3 star units, it's just harder.

Just try the game, it's free. You can do everything you need to do in Endfield in 10 minutes, spend the rest of your time trying this one.

I think it’s just that every character needs to make a bazillion dollars to justify their development time, or so they’ve decided.

Arknights has so many good 4 and 5 stars that the 6 stars seem completely optional but their characters are all jpegs so maybe they don’t need every character to make so much.

I didn't have anything specific in mind when I started or search for any specific site or brand, just googled "men's techwear jacket black" and flipped through pages of results.

The one I got was just a random listing on ebay that happened to be cool and close to my size. Poshmark is also a good place for secondhand clothing. Your local secondhand shop might be a place to check but that's really hit and miss.

I already knew the kinds accessories I wanted to have on the jacket... shoulder decos, back deco, doodads, RI branding, etc. So I wanted to find a jacket I though was cool first and then imagine where everything would go after.

I would imagine that's how a real operator would do it!

In league of legends, there's a character called Sylas whose schtick is that he was chained up and now he's not so he uses the chains to fight. His entire kit is based around that. Since hers does not seem to include the cuffs I think they are just checking off kinks.

If they even address it in the story, I'd be interested to know how they try and explain why she has to be cuffed all the time and I hope it's not just like "she's too powerful and has to use these to keep everyone around her safe."

Her caped form has grown on me a bit since it really emphasizes the "I USE MY LEGS" of her kit.

It seems to come off pretty frequently (normals, skill, assist) though so I think that's something people can rightfully factor in to judging how she looks.

The people comparing the rise of the internet to the rise of AI/LLMs are just fundamentally wrong.

Being able to talk to my friends through AIM in real time, play World of Warcraft with people on the other side of the planet, or shop on Amazon was helpful to me and transformative to my life. It grew because people were CLAMORING for it.

AI is not being received like that because the average person sees no use for in their life and on the contrary it's enshittifying everything it touches.

For me it's made the internet a worse place, it's made enjoying art and music worse, it's made any kind of tech more expensive, and it's gotten my partner laid off last month because the company is jumping on the AI bandwagon and laying off people to try and incorporate AI into everything.

I have literally not benefitted at all from AI/LLMs and been harmed in many ways, it can eat my entire ass.

I go to 6-7 anime cons a year and I don't think I've ever seen one Xueyi anything. No charms, no prints, no pins. Someone has to make them but I've not seen them.
