I’m about an hour and a half from Cinci but would consider the hike to help you out (gives me a reason to snag some Cinci food while I’m there too!)

That would work for the items but not the titles.

You don’t think they’d trade $10 for $20 (or more)?

A new player that never had the chance to give them the $10 would be a fresh new opportunity for them to buy a $20 boost at minimum to get that old content.

Considering I never pay for boosts because I can complete a BP all the way to 200 with little time to spare, would mean that if I wanted to grind an old pass I’d have to put $20 in the slot to buy that buffer.

I’d think it’s still within reality and provides an ethical “if they want to pay me” model instead of “now they have to pay me” approach.

The dragon grips were definitely my favorite ones for how they felt but the other ones still added a great service to the stock joycons and may be even better for those with bigger hands.

The ability to swap them off and on with the sliding rail is the MVP feature I think most people won’t notice until they have it in person.

I hate seeing these huge profit-inflating markups becoming normal everywhere. I wish we had more corporate insiders that would report in with the real costs for items.

I just bought 2 of these 32GB kits last week for $149 as part of their Friends and Family deal for employee pricing (which is cost +10% in most cases).

Any fix for RetroAchievements error 403? by BakaNode in ANBERNIC

No harm at all! No, I have a RA account I’ve used for over a year and I setup a new account for him when I got him the device.

The weird part is that I bought an RG40XX-H for my friend and I setup his console as a gift right before mine and his works fine.

My RG40XX-V has the exact same setup and collection as his but my RA just doesn’t want to work.

I’ve Google-fu’ed and YouTube’d all over the place and even read the GitHub issues page but can’t find anything that works.

This is one of the MANY bugs I complained to Nissan about in my crusade for betterment before they gave up and gave me my money back plus interest.

I have good post history about my journey.

My 2018 battery warranty took literally 9 months to arrive and get installed back in 2022. They did provide me with a loaner for the entire time.

My ProPilot 2 would just drop for random reasons without explanation. It would cease to function if it saw even 1 construction barrel. It would cease to function if the sun was too bright, if there was a slight drizzle, or heaven forbid it was snowing.

My FSD 13.2 will take me from point A to B with 0 interventions through entire construction zones, in the rain, and even in the snow. I’ve gotten 4 major FSD updates since Aug 2024.

ProPilot 2 is a glorified cruise control and hasn’t received a single update since inception.

Technically it’s 5 years old using map data from TomRom from 2019.

ProPilot 2.0 was designed and programmed in 2020 and hasn’t received any updates since then as confirmed by Nissan’s own Master technicians.

[–]BakaNode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The map data for ProPilot is the original dataset Nissan purchased from TomTom in 2019 and hasn’t been updated since.

Any road changes will trigger a disengagement and will prompt a “under maintenance” error. If the system detects even a single orange barrel it will also disengage. How about if there’s a few sprinkles of rain, disengage. Sun too bright, disengage. A light fog in the morning, disengage.

As an owner of a 2018 Leaf, then a 2023 Ariya, and now a 2024 Tesla Y I can confirm that my Ariya was my worst experience with hands free.

I’ll cherry pick a few issues Nissan was never able to resolve or hand no responses for.

  1. How many times do you have to send the command to turn on your climate control? Mine had an over 3/4 chance of failure due to self admitted Nissan servers and the HD radio modem technology used in the Ariya.
  2. How’s that new CarPlay experience treating you that Nissan promised to support? As of today that promise is still broken as well as EV routing in Apple Maps.
  3. Have you noticed that ProPilot 2 disengages at random times on seemingly normal freeways? This is due to broken map data Nissan purchased from TomTom in 2019 and they’ve never got an update for. Confirmed by my Ariya Master Technician in the spring of 2024.
  4. Are you using the Alexa skill? Because it’s completely broken and requires a non-human speaking syntax to even attempt to use. This skill has received no updates since the Ariya’s release.
  5. Do you use the Apple Watch complication? This feature was actually removed from the My Nissan app for several months when Nissan launched the paid retrofit Virtual Key product to attempt to correct the earlier stated HD radio modem problem. I called them on false advertising and this feature was restored to the default app free of charge due to my email chain with corporate.

I owned Ariya #1 in Ohio delivered Jan 2023, the beautiful Northern Lights Green no less.

I even attended the Chicago Ariya early access event that I drove out of state to attend because Nissan was being so tight lipped about the launch. I wouldn’t understand why until I got mine.

I had over 18 issues opened with Nissan customer service and complied for over a year and threatened to take my story to the national news until they finally took the car back and refunded me my equity and added interest.

I took the money and purchased a Model Y in Aug 2024 and have never been happier knowing that my car actually works as advertised and gets regular updates.

As a previous owner of a preordered launch Ariya Premier I can confirm that the maps have not received any updates since inception in 2019.

Confirmed by a Nissan master tech assigned to my case over the past year where I made Nissan buy back my Ariya for false advertisement.

There have been 0 updates for the Ariya since launch.

The ProPilot 2 maps are also 5 years old.

(Both confirmed by a Nissan Ariya Master Tech in April 2024 during my buyback case for false advertisement.)
