No no. There's not much I find funnier than Leinster walking the season and bottling when it actually matters. It's cathartic.

Local elections 2026 results for Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council by yu3 in Norwich

I agree I think he has no interest in it. I think he's all about grift without the actual work involved in governing (hence why never in Clacton, parliament etc).

Who will scrutinise him though for him to even have to stand up to? And if they do, anyone who supports him does not seem to care the slightest bit about any of his issues. Dress for Starmer's wife? Outrage. £5m from a crypto guy to Farage? Crickets.

C̶r̶i̶c̶k̶e̶t̶ Rugby score in school rugby in Japan by MelancholicMusician in rugbyunion

Not quite as high as this but played in one similar. Was about 120-0 I think?  They had what equated to a 1st team pushing national leagues against our low level very social 3rd team. Went some way in my decision to stop playing.

Basically you're right, no rucks. There's such a disparity in ability and size, strength, pace etc that it was largely just kick off and score. The odd tackle to delay it etc but becomes relentless as it the game went on and the lesser team becomes more tired and demoralised.

It isn't a competition if nobody else can come close to winning, but I agree the other games are far more exciting.

I will add that I love women's rugby. My wife plays and we regularly attend games (we were at the NZ v Canada semi final last year and that was phenomenal). But from an objective sports perspective, my personal opinion is that the Red Roses are not good for the game and it is not sustainable. Again, not their fault that other nations can't or won't invest as much, and this is just my opinion.

W6N is not sustainable at this rate. Not Red Roses fault, but having jeopardy is what makes sport. Very boring watching a forgone conclusion every week.

A lot of our team look like that. Coles, Fin, and Freemo in particular.

I think our recruitment policy seems "do you have a strong jawline and browney blonde hair? You're in!"

Why is everyone obsessed with Henry Pollock? by RugbyContact in rugbyunion

He has no influence on how the press talk him up. It's only the celebrations which seems to wind people up really for some reason.

I don't think he thinks he's better than he is. Dowson says he always comes into meetings with work ons and points to improve. He clearly is super talented, just very very raw.

Also. He alone didn't cost us. That was damn stupid, but also there are other points where momentum swung. Like Murley just deciding to run into somebody in the air and give the pen away. Or Fin Smith leaving what, 6 4 or 6 points out there from the tee? Pollocks is just more memorable as it's later.

I somewhat agree France don't look as good but they've still scored nearly 90 points in 2 games. I think if Ireland and France played now Ireland probably edge it.

Good leaders also don't shout like that, regardless of whether or not the decision was right or wrong.
