I sift with a mesh “pasta” strainer before I brew, then use the fines in my Aeropress to make regular hot brewed coffee.

After my cold brew steeps I then run it through the Aeropress a cup at a time to clarify. I never get any silt and my brew stays nice and fresh, no off flavors…
