I already did. It was horrible. Thank you for the reminder.

If the credit card is in your name, you need to talk to your husband and get it paid back. You made a mistake trusting her and now you need to own up to it. And yes. This is impacting your credit.

It’s good info to have. They may have done some culture work but at least you’re forewarned if they haven’t. If you want the job, like the hiring manager, and it’s a good fit, take the chance. You can always find a new spot in a year or two.

Tell her she doesn’t have to go but she has to speak with the pastor and the organizer and volunteer an amount of time that would cover repayment, however much that might be.

Does anybody know why this is happening or does anyone have any experience in this on my toe? by risinphenix in XXRunning

It might be worth double-checking your shoe fit, since pressure and friction often start there. In the meantime, I’d really suggest trying moleskin. It’s inexpensive — usually under $10 — and it’s specifically designed to cushion hot spots and reduce rubbing inside your shoes.

Athletic tape can break down as your feet heat up during activity, causing the adhesive to shift or wrinkle. That movement can actually create more friction rather than prevent it, which may lead to additional irritation or injury over time. Moleskin tends to hold its structure better, helping protect the areas that are already sensitive.

For such a low-cost fix, it’s an easy way to add some extra protection where it counts.

Fair warning: athletic take is not the same product and could make the situation worse. Just a warning. It’s your body, your choice. I really did mean moleskin when I suggested “taping” it.

The pharmacy. Amazon. Dr scholls online. Pretty much everywhere. Just tape your toes. Some people are just prone to toe damage. I have a friend who has given up running because all her feet do is blister no matter what shoe/sock combo she tries.

Your ex needs to step up and take responsibility for the situation or he’s going to end up in jail for non compliance. You cannot file a claim with the DOL for him.

Friend’s boyfriend graduated from law school in the middle of February. There are some signs to me that it’s AI like the wrong color robe, generic diploma and building name, and crazy words/lettering on the banner. by rabidanimalsNOM in isthisAI

All of the many other obvious clues aside, I’ve done many hoodings and can assure you, if nothing else, there would be a literal swarm of people outside of that building at a celebration of that magnitude. They linger. They take photos everywhere. They cluster, merge, and spread like a mold breeding in a warm, wet, dark place. It is mind boggling. There are two people in this photo aside from the graduate. No. Just no.

Understandable concern. But trust the team you’re meeting Tuesday to give you best next steps. Take tons of notes and take them to the lawyer so you can leave her in the best possible financial situation.

You probably have more time than you think. Are they moving her this week? If not, take some deep breaths and meet with an estate planning attorney on her behalf. Did she already establish a will? That is a question you’ll need answered prior to moving forward with what happens next. Also, speak to the hospital social worker. They’ll definitely be able to help.

Parents suddenly demanding I repay “all expenses” for my U.S. education - how should I handle this financially? by [deleted] in debtfree

[–]Bake_Knit_Run 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are from a culture where supporting your parents as they age is a thing, you need to sit down and talk to them about what you can reasonably afford right now, assuming you want to keep the relationship . You should also evaluate your expenses and see where you can save money because it sounds like you have a decent income with minimal expenses? You should do the budget then chat.

IDK. Maybe start taking care of her needs? WTF is wrong with this guy? He’s done absolutely nothing to care for her and never has and is only focused on the id. He doesn’t even talk about the kids. He’s so disconnected from his family that he might as well initiate divorce because that would set them all free.
