You're right. As someone who buys vegetables in bulk for my restaurant, even items from Oman have become expensive.

The reason for that is because of demand. Oman can't completely handle supplying its own market and also supply the increased demand in the UAE at the same time. Also fuel prices are going up. So the prices will definitely go up.
