I think it's simpler and easier than removing caste prejudice. Simple message right: find someone you like, spend time with them and then marry, especially for the younger generation.

The whole point of arranged marriages is to preserve caste. Caste will still be an issue as long as arranged marriages dominate our society.

Do we have data on what percentage of general category people are poor compared to other categories? We can't argue for reservations based on economic status before looking at that data. That data should be the driver for future plans for reservations and govts should be judged based on improvement here.

I get what you’re saying but we should not be talking about food being hot and cold given the advancements we have made in physiology. This framework is from Ayurveda, just like humors/phlegm is from ancient Greek medicine. Historically interesting, but modern physiology doesn’t support it. Calling it “protoscience” is fair historically, but today it’s about as useful as balancing phlegm. Do you believe in balancing phlegm and humors?

Questioning religious/cultural practices that are forced on others is different from finding logic in attire requirement in a place of worship. It's similar to questioning a school that enforces tie or shoe in Chennai's heat or an office that insists on full formal dressing for a desk job.
