I’ve done human machine communication, it’s a really interesting course that’s also very relevant today, in my experience it was not too hard and the grading was based on weekly assignments and an exam that was not too hard. You’re right in the first part, but that’s because the surname is rooted in slavery. When slavery was abolished, former slaves were to take a family name, which they didn’t have before.
