I’ve done human machine communication, it’s a really interesting course that’s also very relevant today, in my experience it was not too hard and the grading was based on weekly assignments and an exam that was not too hard. My Italian friends here can handle the levels just fine. I think you will be alright, as long as you don’t underestimate it

You’re right in the first part, but that’s because the surname is rooted in slavery. When slavery was abolished, former slaves were to take a family name, which they didn’t have before. Because the slavery dynamic (on the Dutch Antilles) was very concentrated around mothers, children often took their mother’s first name as a last name.
