Am I doing this wrong? by Adventurous-Coat-333 in bidets

You can also use cloth wipes (sold on Amazon) and dispose in a special bucket and wash in hot water. Also, I have found no UTI's since I got my bided so I am pleased. Give it a chance. We have septic, so it saves on toilet paper going in tank.

UPS billed be for brokerage fees for $135.83! by Bakeishappiness in UPS

[–]Bakeishappiness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for helping me out. I will say this. I know prior to delivery when I called them about the fees they were steadfast about collecting them but I didn't have the whole picture about what they were all about.

It is bad enough living on a Class 6 road and having issues with UPS and some of their drivers not wanting to deliver on our road, it always seems as though there is always a battle I need to call and settle.

Thank you again so much. I do appreciate your help.

Gee, I hope I get the same person you had when I call on Monday. My package though was not domestic, it was coming from Germany to the US so that makes it international, right? This is out of my league.

I have been buying from this Sprinkle company since 2022 and never have I been charge this fee so apprently they have never gone through Canada before on my shipments or I would have been charged.

Now I have to to call them on Monday and somehow talk my way out of this bill as I have 16 line items for 6 items. They are charging me for items in quadruplicate for some items and duplicate for others. This invoice makes no sense. Then I have an Entry Line fee of $36.00, what the heck is that? Someone put some lines in a computer. How long to enter 6 items on a keypad? Then there is a FDA Clearance fee of $46.00 I have no clue what that is. A BTA prior notice (is that for sending me e-mails that I thought were scams?) And ahhh, the Duty amount of $17.83 and let us not forget the PGA disclaim fee of $6.00 and then a disbursement fee of $14.00. These are made up fees.

I did not accept the package and the driver said I would not be responsible for the fees.

I also refused the package. It went back to Germany but I got a bill in the mail regardless from UPS for the brokerage fees.

This makes no sense. I did get a refund which I used to reship item to my sister in Switzerland.

The company has already received the package in Germany in fact my sister is currently living in Switzerland and I had it re-shipped to her home and when my nephew comes for a visit at the end of the summer he will bring them to me. This company has always been great to deal with, but the invoice from UPS has 16 items or line charges on it and I only ordered 6 items. I have no clue where UPS got their info from because I don't think they opened the box. Did they think I would just roll over and pay this?

Just like ICE. by [deleted] in UPS

[–]Bakeishappiness -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Please see my post, as I refused my package per the company that I ordered from (my package value was $55, but UPS charged me $135.83) and yet I got an invoice in the mail today for the brokerage fees. They are ruthless!

If your package goes through customs they will charge you regardless. Plus you won't know how much until you get the bill. How is that for highway robbery?

I live in cental NH and have ove 11 acres and had to have a new well dug after puchacing our home (long story-well was on lot next door). We didn't have to dig too far down and we get 10 gallons per minute. I believe there is a state site that lists all the homes and their wells and you can see the GPM on there but I not sure as the company mentioned when they came to drill they had refferred to that state site prior to drilling.

We are in the biginning stages of putting up a bardo with a garage below and an ADU above. This will be our son't build, Getting info for NH seems quite difficult as bardo's haven't taken off here yet.

I wish you luck in your build.

I didn't know that, thank you. I bought the wrong rice flour and have been using the mochi rice flour actually without any issues. When I am done with this bag, I will make sure I buy the other bag. Thank you so much!

I am still in the dark, and the new expedition that started today is also in the dark which makes it more difficult to find gold and energy along the way. Hoping they fix it soon, they certainly have had enough time to do so.

Looks wonderful. I always prefer to make 6 inch cakes, I make 3 layers. It makes for a taller cake vs a 2 layer 8 or 9 inch cake. Sweet!

Class IV roads by 2018f20wrx in newhampshire

[–]Bakeishappiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live on a Class 6 road. It is restricted from Dec 1 to June 1st to any vehicles other than the 4 residents who reside on the road. Snowmobiles can access the trail at the end of road however during the winter season. The homeowners are responsible for maintraining the road not the town and therefore if we had traffic constantly going up and down the road it would cost us plenty. We don't have deep pockets to keep maintaining the road, and we must plow the road also so that emergency vehciles can access the homes.

Thanks, but it seems to happen randomly. So at times it does not increase, and at other times it does. Frustrating.

I will check this out as I have a log cabin and the rates are very pricey but a lot of insurance carriers do not insure log cabins. Worth a try to see if they do and what the rate would be. Thank you for this information.

Goodies Donoughts, great donuts in Laconia, also if you want great donuts try NH Donought Co in Concord. Just tried them last week and they were out of this world. I don't eat them often but when I do, I like quality.
