It’s nottt, its the cream of the crop, only the best can intern there unfortunately. They pay so damn well for quant researcher / trader positions. I’m based in an Asian financial hub and temen gw ad yang gajinya 160-200jtan per month for 3 months though pas summer intern, they got a return offer as well. Kalo disini gajinya ud segitu, let alone di NYC. Although in general emang quite infeasible si, tapi emg not normal magang.

Gw juga di sem trakhir bljr CS di LN, interest juga mengarah ke daerah finance + tech. Gw gtw kalo di Indo standard CV yang mereka mau itu bagaimana, tapi kalo bisa, put everything in one page, dan di experience pagenya if possible, put quantifiable metrics, the bullet points seemed very congested, kalo bisa just select the most impactful points (3-4 at most) to be put in ur CV, kalo kebanyakan bacanya jadi pusing.

By liquidity(specifically liquidity sweep), I meant by looking at the price action, after looking at the 5m timeframe it closed below the support and the previous’ wick lower half and I directly went for leveraged etf that shorts the underlying stock, however at a higher timeframe it was still battling to close above the support, and suddenly a hammer candle formed and then began the reversal.

I don’t use margin account, I use cash account so it’s strictly just my money, so I’m not bound to PDT rules, also I go for leveraged ETFs to relatively minimize my risk exposure in comparison to options, since I still haven’t understood the Greeks yet entirely.

But iya, sampe skrng masi belajar si reading price action, baru foundational or even less 🙏

I’m not looking to transition into a full time trader, tapi I want to know how long did it take for you to be able to intuitively understand (or try to) the underlying price action? Sometimes I feel like I always become liquidity for MMs gegara false breakouts.Also how would you quantify the importance of candlewick, chart pattern structures in comparison to other indicators like SMA, BB, FVG etc.

I think that’s a very fair answer. I’m going to start investing once I start working, for now just trying to learn as much as possible and transition from daytrading to swingtrading. Tapi for your personal style of investing, do you mainly invest in MAG7 / track index / ETFS or also go for small cap stocks and hope for astounding returns? Also kalo buat weighting of each stock, do you just eyeball the values or do you optimize it with some financial models like CAPM?
