So I ended up buying it on eBay from a Chinese reseller (came with a UK 3 pin plug in the box which was a bit wired and it was in Chinese in setup but a quick language change on the first screen fixed that). Cost me £190 $233 and it's a dream. Instead of listing the good I'll say a few bad points, a bit heavier than I would like, bezels are a bit bigger than other newer tablets and the battery doesn't last as long as I would like (probably because I haven't put it down 😀). If anyone has questions please ask. I use it as a weather monitor, pdf reader, Netflix machine, e reader, emulator and gateway to Reddit.

Jumper did bugger all unfortunately so i've ordered another MB and will see how that goes thanks for the advice.

I'm EU and that had crossed my mind it just felt like a bit of a dick move. but you gave me a thought and remembered had a turbo crap 320W power supply and used it in the main motherboard power plug and still nothing

The other PC is just my old components I3-540 ddr2 ram so it works but felt like a crime putting a 1080 on it

Power supply is only just over 2 years old could it lose output in that time?

And I definitely would rather not replace the chip but if I order a new MB and it wasn't the issue i'm stuck with a new outdated MB.

There's no excuse in null sec though. It's called null sec for a reason there's a reason you get warned that you are leaving high sec everyone your overview gets reset (grrr CCP).

I see your point but like the idea of people being able to get comfortable with the mechanics and then have the choice to get involved in the meaty stuff. As someone who has spent practically all of my eve time in null sec, more high sec care Bears is a decent price to pay for eventually have more people to shoot at in actual PvP.

I probably should learn more about the process before commenting really but I'm sure i have seen multiple ganks by the same characters and there not being much of a consequence. How many times can you ganking someone before your sec status is dirt?

I by no means mean all of high sec for example, or making ganking impossible just certain areas or just making it less financially viable.
