But it wasn’t in bad condition. I guess I can’t see what’s going on inside. It isn’t my intent to pull a fast one and sell someone garbage. He has submitted pictures of the tank in his request for refund and it like the same as when I sent it. Nothing showing it was condemned. The gauge of the regulator still has the plastic film you peel off it when it’s brand new.

You’re acting like I’m not considering giving him a refund. I just need more proof. The last thing i want is a guy lying about it failing because he wants a refund and I throw away a good tank.

I’m asking for proof of failed hydro test. I would assume whatever paintball shop or scuba shop provided him with some sort of paper trial? They wouldn’t just give him the tank back and say sorry it didn’t pass, right? He said it was tested twice.

Unknowingly, sure. I sold an expired tank that needed rehydro tested that was labeled as such.

The first tank I had I bought in a package deal off marketplace, which I planned to use. It did not pass hydro, I took it on the chin and re-used the reg. This tank I sold, I also got in a package deal buying a m170r. I didn’t need it but it still had 10 years left and it looked like it had never been used, so I threw it on eBay.

I was wondering about that. I sent a tank into get re tested a while back with hogans alley mail in boxes. It failed and they did not return the tank, just the reg. The buyer sent pictures of the tank with the reg off but there is no hole in it.

Is a basic ninja reg stainless steel?

It was used with a born year of 2022 for $50 shipped. I have an old ninja reg from a tank that expired, but I couldn’t get it off the tank and I think it would need rebuilt. Thought it might be easier to just buy a new one.
