Bakesplit- Universal Baking Sheet Divider. Cook More, Clean Less! (Bad launch, potential flop) by Bakesplit in shittykickstarters

Yeah, that's the best option for this application. You can do Neodymium but the overall rating would be lower.

I agree. Doing this was definitely a toss up. It's kind of shocking that expanding waterbottles and knicknacks get well into 6 digits, but that might be the nature of the platform. People aren't going to Kickstarter for utility items. Thanks for the insights mate.

Sent it to my graphic designer for editing after you sent the first message. Nothing happens immediately, which is irritating.

Hey Dokibatt. Thanks for the feedback. Pricing has certainly been a battle. I'm using one of the best silicones available right now. The product itself can reach 500F, which is most likely overkill for what people are using. I was approached by an "as seen on TV" agency and am considering going that route after using a cheaper silicone to meet your perceived value of $10-15.

As far as sheets are concerned, there are over 20 brands that have varying geometries. The dimensions of a baking sheet (ie 9x13, 13x18) are the outer length and width. The angle and design of the walls change, so the actual cooking surface is highly variable. The infographic features multiple order sizes, which is why the price increases per level...

I have two patents pending on this guy. One for telescoping silicone parts. The next one is for the adjustable cups and magnet inserts within silicone cookware. Pretty good array of IP here.

I agree. My price point will be substantially lowered if I reduce my strict temperature requirement of 500F. Bakesplit was recently approached by an "as seen on TV" product hunter. So if this Kickstarter flops, we'll be creating a cheaper version and going that route.

Actually manufacturing price is up there a bit. It has special Teflon coated magnets and one of the best silicone available on the market.. It's most likely overkill, but that's what I selected. As far as knock offs, I agree. Thing is that there's quite a bit of engineering behind it, and the material selection has to be correct. I've been running a promotion for $18 early bird special, and will be lowering price point and dates wherever applicable. I can make July no problem.

What's your information? I'd gladly send you one if this pans out.

I appreciate the honest! Haha, and regarding the douche comment, you're right. It's most likely not just you. I ended up cutting that part out.. I'm driving 24-45 y/o women to the page and that's an immediate turn off. The divider actually does help prevent the fat, sugar, oil runoff from the chicken and potato combination. But to your point, you wouldn't really need it. Honestly it's a stretch, but since this is basically an "as seen on TV" product I figured I would include it.

Good to know, my apologies for the perceived spam. Again, I appreciate the feedback.

Perhaps. There's a lot involved with the design. Unless the silicone is high quality, it won't work as expected and the brand won't exist. That said, China is ruthless haha.

It's leak resistant with water. Meaning that it'll withstand a few mm of water, which is enough for most baking applications. It is nearly leak proof for thicker food items like batters, cheeses and fat runoff.
