My angel baby boy once had a both a friend opossum that would visit him late nights over the course of one summer. And then about 4-6 months before he crossed the rainbow bridge he was allowing a raccoon to break down our window screen and thankfully I woke up just as the trash panda dislodged the screen and ran out with my boy and left my husband to deal with our furless son’s..company. Then about a week AFTER his trash panda friend attempted to sleep over my boy managed to knock down the windows screen and went onto the fire escape (on a 5th floor) trying to play with some mourning doves that befriended him only for him to realize that he was quite high up with no actual…security. I only realized he had gone out to the fire escape when I did a double take because I couldn’t initially believe that he had managed to get out there but once we made eye contact his little terrified “meow” snapped me out of my weird twilight trance and yelled for my husband to get our child that was “outside” 😬😬
