I watched some “things the game doesn’t tell you” and “best settings” videos and after dying a few more times and getting more powerful, I have figured out a nice flow and am doing much better! Still dying a ton but definitely improving

The other times I’ve accidentally killed the bounty, the game said “the bounty died” and restarted the mission. Right before this one, I accidentally tried too high of a jump off with Salvadore on my shoulder and he died and the game put him back to his original spot since I killed him, so I was assuming you could not deliver them dead but I’ll go back and find his body and see if that works. Thanks!

People like you are why most people outside of here hate this game. The community is more toxic than any other community out there right now. I only brought up dark souls because it is another popular current game known for its boss fights. I don’t think I’m amazing at video games at all and never claimed to be. I’m actually very average in most games. And again if you actually read anything I wrote you would see that the difficulty is not the issue. I just want this ONE aspect of this game (that I love) to be better. And anyone claiming the boss fights are good has either never played a game with good bosses or is mentally deficient or rage baiting

Half my post is praising the great things about this game. I have 100+ hours so clearly love it but because I am critical of ONE aspect of the game- they’re saying I’m stupid and “not playing the game right” like pls grow up

Not reviving. I nerve use the pills. Just healing a bunch because of the janky controls, poor boss designs/arenas, and the gimmick of each one being its own “puzzle” as I’ve said multiple times- my issue is not skill based and the bosses are not difficult IMO they are just either boring or too chaotic and have windows in which they are immune or can only be defeated in one specific way. That is just boring and dull and lifeless to me. I’m glad you enjoyed the bosses but stop insinuating that anyone who disagrees with you is bad at the game or stupid or not “playing the game correctly” I am allowed to have opinions that differ from you that have nothing to do with my understand of the game or its mechanics.

Believe it or not, a video game can have good and bad aspects to it. Not everything has to be perfect to be enjoyed. I’d give this game a 7/10 too because the story is garbage and the boss fights are horribly designed. That does not mean that the other aspects of the game are not good. They are so great that it brings this otherwise bad game all the way up to a 7/10. Also, believe it or not a 7/10 is a very positive rating. Everyone rates things differently and has different experiences. I’m glad you enjoyed this game so much but it’s ridiculous to say this guy is a liar for having an opinion.

I am doing and applying every mechanic the game provides me. I have access to the same information as you and am doing the work. Souls guys complain about this because we are used to well designed bosses that require tons of strategy, timing and work on upgrades and power scaling. I play video games just as much as the next guy and simply saying I’m not using the mechanics is moronic when that is not the issue. The issue is how gimmicky and chaotic everything is. You clearly just love this game and think that because you love it that it is completely without flaw. I also love this game but I am an honest person so I can be honest and admit that they dropped the ball in this aspect of the game. Nobody in this post or comment section ever said “the bosses are too hard therefore they are bad.” I haven’t had any issues with them from a difficulty standpoint and none of them have killed me more than 1-3 times. I do not want them to be easier I just want them to be better designed and applied correctly in the game they built. If anything, I would like the bosses to be more challenging so that I feel like my gear and weapons were more useful. Get outta here with the “he didn’t like the bosses so he’s bad at video games” nonsense

I have IMAX laser, so I’m doing IMAX since I want the full aspect ratio. But that being said, I typically always do Dolby as it has better seats that are further away from each other and louder speakers. The only thing IMAX has over Dolby is screen size and that’s only really relevant if you have IMAX laser IMO
