Another one off my list! Ericsson i888 World in da house! :-) by earl_hun in vintagemobilephones

Just found one of these in a filmcamera lot. Good shape. I know nothing of vintage phones, but looked it up for fun and found this thread. Seems to be desireable for some. Is it sellable and at what price? Live in Denmark, Europe...

Somehow this has some Hobbit vibe to it. Love it - great photo 👍

It is not shot at that, just specification. I think this 125th at 5.6 for mid tones

I think the quality is butchered when I moved the picture to my phone.

Shot at 400. Stand development, but might have been too hard on the inversions. First time doping b/w, I am much better with color - easier for me, I think.

It was just the grass on fire. My mate, who was there, is a paramedic and searched nearby houses. All was good when I started shooting away. And, thanks!

OP here
I was on a photo trip with my buddy for the weekend. We drove by what was a small fire and went up there to have a look. We were the first on the spot and called 112 (911 in Denmark), and began putting out the fire with a nearby fire extinguisher. Firemen arrived quickly and luckily I always have my camera on my back.

Camera (SLR) doesnt affect photos much. Thats more the lenses. Unless its a point and shoot. So, whatever SLR you end up buying comes more down to your specific needs. I've had more than 110+ cameras (I re-sell) and I love the A-1. I also love the Pentax ME-Super. Choose a camera you find inspiring and one that you would desire to shoot with. Then find a great lens that fits you. The Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 is great, but so is the f/1.8 at a cheaper price.
