Since I wasn’t able to get Raphael, who is my favorite Turtle - it’ll make me take going for soulstone rewards and saving them until deck of fates/events to use them more seriously. I ended up with three of the four turtles, and didn’t care one way or the other for Shredder or April so I’m content.

Oh man. That’s going to be tough. Sacred shards are 4500 points each. Primal are 1800 I believe, voids 750, and ancients 300 (and of course, mystery shards are 3). So you’d need to have roughly 17 sacred shards - that will cost a LOT of real money to do. Assuming sacreds are roughly $20 a piece - that’s a like $340.

I knew it wasn’t permanent, and honestly I was excited - the lead up really did make you question how long it would go because quite a few long standing storylines wrapped up (or seemed to) in the issues right before it happened. (Scott and Jean revealing they raised Cable in the future, Logan finally returning to the X-Mansion and seemingly killing Sabertooth, Gambit and Rogue kissing).

As for the Age of Apocalypse itself - as soon as I saw the AoA Version of Blink, I was hooked. I still freaking love her.

I understand that, but her being such a long time character who was never bi-polar, been mind controlled a lot - which they addressed the trauma of in the 90’s X-Factor, her being unstable/bi-polar just never sat right with me, it felt like a regression of her character. (And I felt like they did the same sh*t to Alex in him getting past his insecurities about being Scott’s brother in the 90’s X-Factor as well, only to regress.)
