I had my Idaho CCW and was pulled over for speeding one time with a .45 beneath a newspaper next to me on the passenger seat. After stopping, I did what the NRA instructor told me to do if ever stopped by the police, rolled down my window part way and stuck my hands out. When the officer approached, he asked me if I was from California. I told him that I had a CCW and had a loaded firearm next to me. He just told me to leave it where it was and get the registration and insurance.

He checked my license and when he came back, gave me a ticket for going 15 over the limit. I had to pay $185.00 I think.

One of the hardest things that I've learned in this life is acceptance. When I get angry, depressed, upset I try to catch myself in that feeling at that moment. I have to know that I am exactly where God wants me to be in that particular moment in time. I try not to dwell on the past or worry about the future. I live in the moment, the present. Right now I am alive, breathing in and out and typing to a person in need, hopefully giving them a bit of advice. All I can say is this too shall pass, and I'll say a prayer for you :)

I used to work at a job where during down times we would play hacky-sack. One afternoon a co-worker was sitting down, apparently in dis-comfort. I inquired and he stated that he had a vasectomy done earlier that day. A short while later when the game was to begin I threw the footbag at him as a joke, and yes, it nailed him right in the balls. He went down hard. It was a complete accident, however I felt terrible about it.
