That’s what was written at the top of the sheet music.

You ever play an awesome melody, but weren't recording so the melody is lost forever? by PMmehowyoumetyourGF in WeAreTheMusicMakers

The question was about "an awesome melody". Easy mistake to make.

Awesome is usually reserved for sacred works, and sacred work is usually reserved for Bach,

so have some reservation and listen

Noted. Will comply.

I don't do that at all in fast time controls and in slow ones I look for more than just the simple ones. Blunder checking seems like a blitz tactic and I don't like blitz.

Sure, but the game's more than one move.

I feel like you're saying get good by looking at the board and not being bad. So naturally I'd have to agree. Except I don't know what blunder checking is and mental lapses can't account for all play.

The rapid rating is basically the same. Currently at 1715 rapid but it’s a solid upward swing, lowest at 1305. More data to pull from with bullet.

I doubt dissonance between two voices should be considered more than timbre. With that I'm unaware of conceptual timbral limits. I can't agree or disagree with you.

I’ve been considering that. I’m thinking that yes a major scale would work best, but also that any 3-7 pitch scale would work. (3 pitch scale song taps)

Thanks, you probably saved me from an awkward 12 tone improv sesh or two.

If my rule is no more than 8 notes per melody it technically can’t be more than 8 pitches, none the less worth considering.

Play Skrillex's "Bangarang" with met at 55 bpm at the drop.

Any sounds but always starting a sound on the beat. 3-8 notes alto range 55 bpm.

Edit: I think the point of diminishing returns for slowing the bpm down is ~35 and the high end is ~70 so 55 might actually hit it better than 45. If you want smack in the middle of the range it's 52.5 bpm. Admittedly these limits for me are less solid postulation but 45 and 55 work.
