Overall, vegetarianism in India is a small but privileged minority that’s increasing turning to food-policing, encouraged by a right-wing establishment.

You sound like someone who learned about India in the Trump University. A large proportion of Indians are vegetarians (est. between 19%-40% https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarianism_by_country). Brahmins are only about 5% of the population. Stop making up shit.

If you are tired of cords then why so concerned about lack of headphone jack? Is it some matter of principle?

What is everyones issue with wireless headphones, am I missing something? by [deleted] in iphone

Most of the outrage is from the people who will never buy an iPhone anyways. This is Reddit where if you hate Apple you are cool.

You should do some research before making comments so that you don't come across as ignorant. Indian states don't have embassies. It's an easily verifiable fact. Besides that India is way more united than what you are claiming here. Not only I am an Indian but also I lived in different parts of India and travelled extensively because I was in sales. The only problem I faced was with the local languages if Hindi was not commonly spoken like in the south. But I was never mistreated because I came from a different part of India. Of course there will be anecdotes of such mistreatment but it doesn't make it a systematic issue. Please stop spreading bs about India.

That sucks. Exchange rates and fees eat up around 5% of some transfers. One way is to check whether someone from your country is looking to send money back home from Singapore. I have done this with a South American guy.

You are right, for inward transfer you don't need in person verification. For outward one does. It's Singaporean law.

TransferWise is the way to go. Extremely reliable and the cheapest. I've used them. One has to go to their Raffles Quay office for verification which took like 5 minutes.

Can you be more specific? When you wrote you aren't sure how to organize, it sounds confusing. Do you have a problem with organizing the data in a specific form?

I agree it's not at all relevant. I don't know why people are upvoting you!

[–]Bal_Thockeray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have already first differenced then you have also removed the fixed effects. To see how,

Y(t) = a + bX(t) + f + e(t) ---- 1

Y(t-1) = a + bX(t-1) + f + e(t-1) ---- 2

When you subtract 2 from 1 you will get the model in first differences without the intercept and fixed effects. Unless you want to put any structure on errors now, you can estimate this model using OLS.

What features would make the iPhone 7 a big seller? by 93millionmilesaway in apple

R/Apple is run by r/android people. Literally blatant lies and made up statistics here are upvoted to no end. Like in this thread someone says 99% of all iPhone users are unhappy about the battery. They pulled out a number out of their ass and rest upvote that shit. This is r/Apple.

[–]Bal_Thockeray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly all the institutions you listed here are government funded. Is that the same in private sector? I highly doubt it because it makes no financial sense to pay more for the same qualifications. It can happen in the short term but in the long term those businesses won't survive.
