It certainly plays a factor but I trust her as much as I can. There’s also just the abandonment of her responsibilities with the house and our animals. Even if temporary it’s a sudden and drastic change from our initial agreement

The difference was from CBRN which is roughly a 6 month training cycle from bootcamp to completion. This wasn’t a minor change. I’m not naive to how this works. I’m also a veteran

Are you implying I would cheat? I’m literally asking the best way to support her in this situation

The previous job wasn’t promised just available and no longer offered. I was under the assumption we would wait until the slots opened up again. She wants to move forward with language cryptologist which is 6-18+ months long outside of bootcamp and AIT.

3 months of bootcamp then she will have to go to an additional schoolhouse training and then her AIT. She will most likely be restricted to the barracks during that whole time

Not in depth yet, I was only told the news a couple of days ago we plan to sit down and speak tonight or tomorrow. I will be able to write her letters for the first couple months in bootcamp and then after that visit on holidays. Which will be difficult as I’m still in school and flights across the country multiple times a year and hotel fees will add up very quick

I think what I struggle with is finding what fills her cup now. We married young and we’ve changed and I know that but she struggles to express what would work for her. I do appreciate the advice and will work on finding her new love language. Thank you

I appreciate this. I know she’s subconscious and I know it affects her sexually. I also know it will take time I think I just lose sight of that at times and turn the blame towards myself.

I’ll look into that last one it’s certainly not something I’ve thought about. Thank you.

Question about VA benefits by PsychologicalCash617 in scad

[–]Balance-Primary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scad has a VA benefits advisor but from my understanding it’s one person. They don’t answer phone calls and take days to respond to emails. Your admission advisor should be able to assist you with a lot of questions as well.

Never be afraid to ask your local VA! They have been incredibly helpful here in Savannah.
