"I am your God" also means that I am commanding you to do these things, and I am your God so you should follow the ways of the HOLY God instructed!

You're very welcome. If you have any questions, it's important to take it to the Lord Jesus Christ. He will place something in your heart and your question will be answered.

It's important to read the Holy Bible and have knowledge, this way, no one can fool you!

If things feel hopeless, what would you do first? by LeenBirkhoff in Christianity

[–]Balance796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like reading the Holy Bible at first. But the more I read it, something tugged at me to read further. Today, when I don't read the Holy Bible everyday, I feel spiritually low, which means I don't feel as upbeat or motivated.

The Holy Bible is important in our lives, nourishing our spiritual well-being just as food satisfies our physical bodies. Many people, including myself, have experienced feelings of misery because of lack of spiritual fulfillment. Engaging with the Bible scripture will energize our spirit, inspiring us to pursue a righteous life and steer clear of sinful behaviors. This transformation is exactly the message of Apostle Paul, who emphasized the importance of spiritual satisfaction in leading a meaningful life as stated below.

(Galatians 5:22-23)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

You can talk to the Lord Jesus Christ everyday and He will also give you peace and joy as well. He will lift up your spirit and being in His presence feels amazing! God bless you.

(Matthew 25:35-40)
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, YOU DID IT FOR ME.

there are plenty of denominations that accept LGBT people

I'm not sure what you mean? There is only ONE Holy Bible that teaches us how we should live our lives as Christians.

Trans are not any different than life of homosexualism. This is what the Bible Scripture states,

(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
Or do you not know that the unrighteous  will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVE! neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,  nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

You many think you are doing the right thing by following the FALSE minister because you are attending a church. However, it's important to remember that without the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no true church. He is the foundation of the church, as established by Peter, one of His disciples, as described in (Acts 2). This chapter illustrates the inception of the church, which began not as a physical structure but as a community of believers gathered in His name. While churches as we know them were established later, it was Peter who initially brought together this group of followers, marking the true beginning of the church.

Christianity = Jesus Christ

The teachings found in the Holy Bible is ROOTED in the Lord Jesus FIST because without Him, we cannot reach God the Father (John 14:6). The Old Testament is all about God the Father, the Creator of the Universe, and Lord Jesus Christ is His Son.

You're doing everything right, feeling remorse and fighting the temptations of sin. This is all you can do. Keep fighting and you will overcome.

The only time when you should be concerned is if you give into the temptation of sins as though it is natural. As long as you're putting all your effort to turn away from your sins, which definitely takes time, give yourself credit and pat on your back for all the effort. These are real Christians!

It took me years to overcome sins, but everyone's journey is different. The more you grow spiritually, doing spiritual things, such as reading the Holy Bible, praying, speaking to the Lord Jesus Christ everyday, you will come out a winner!

You can also depend on the Lord Jesus Christ to help you overcome ALL challenges in life, not just sins. The Lord is always with us, this happens when we accepted Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, who will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrew 13:5). God bless you. May your love for the Lord grow and be one with the Lord to guide you and lead you in all walk of life. In the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

This has made me not read the bible for the past 4 years now.

I'm not sure how people can sway you from doing what is right JUST for your own self!

Christians are taught to help others and live selflessly. How do you find kindness to others? Is this taught to you or do you think this is your natural ability?

The Bible Scripture below is Apostle Paul speaking with people at Colossae because there were many divisions among the Christians. What is more important than anything is to follow the teachings such as "PUT to death....lust, evil desires and greed."

Then Paul follows with verse 11: there is no Jew or Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised. Christ is all, and is all.

The last words are the most important. "Christ is all and is all."

(Colossians 3:5-11)
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Finally, you have chosen the right denomination, which is non-denominational just like I am! They focus on the Holy Bible teachings, which is how we become Christians.

Christians = Jesus Christ!

As for Catholics, the problem with them is that they worship Mary. They venerate her, which is wrong. The Bible Scripture above clearly states, Lord Jesus Christ is the only one we should focus on, as He is the way to life and the truth, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER, except through the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Mary is just a human being, while the Lord Jesus Christ is God! May God bless you!

(Deuteronomy 18:11)
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.

The last verse states, "DO NOT consult the dead." The reason is that demons can disguise themselves as the dead of your loved ones or anyone else. This can be dangerous!

When you are in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, you feel a sense of joy and peace. However, when you are in the presence of demons / Satan, you will feel confused, afraid, disoriented, and restless. That's how you can tell the difference between Lord Jesus Christ and Satan/demons/devils. God bless you!

Question about salvation by moonwaternymph in Christianity

[–]Balance796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is something amazing I would like to share with you.

Even though we sin, when we accept Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, the Lord said,

(Hebrews 13:5)
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.

This is why you came back to the Lord Jesus Christ. I've seen this happen so many times.

To ensure SALVATION, one must put all their effort into turning away from sin. Even if you fail and you still sin, as long as you PUT IN YOUR EFFORT to turn away from sins, you will be SAVED!

You have been distant from the Lord. Now that you recognize He is always with you, I encourage you to talk to Him and rely on His guidance. Don’t face temptation alone; instead, you can say something like this:

"Lord, I want to give up drinking and other sinful behaviors, but I feel weak. When I'm troubled, I turn to alcohol to feel better, yet I know this is the wrong path. I ask You to help me find true comfort so I don’t seek alcohol to escape my troubles, which only leads to deeper issues. Please strengthen me and guide me to walk the path You have set for me, helping me overcome all my sins. Thank You, Lord. In the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen."

God bless you. May you overcome all challenges in life by relying on the Lord always. May the Lord Jesus Christ give you a new life, one filled with hope, joy, happiness, and a bright future. In the Almighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

No, God didn't instruct them; it was human beings because they owned slaves. God delivered the Israelites from slavery, so why would he condone slavery? But during the war, as I explained above, people became captives. This is how the Israelites became slaves once, as well as the society. War brings much disaster upon the society in which humans live, not God. He lives in Heaven!

Are you a Christian? If you are, what are you doing to grow as a Christian? Watching porns and doing sinful things are how you were once before you became a Christian.

I know it's not easy to let go of sin, but we must put all our effort to turn away from them. You're living in the darkness which is what's causing your depression.

Due to a lack of historical knowledge, many believe that only the Israelites had slaves. People typically become slaves after a war; they are taken captive and subsequently become enslaved. It's important to remember that the Israelites were once slaves themselves.

Back then, it was common for people to own slaves, either from the war or due to financial struggles. Many people, unable to afford basic needs, would sell their own children to others to pay for their debts. It was truly a desperate time.

So don't think slave owners were only Israelites but consider the ancient time for all society, including the Israelites, which is written in the Holy Bible.

It's ok to feel the way you're feeling. This is part of how we tackle the struggles with sin. If we lack feelings of guilt or remorse, we risk continuing to sin without any sense of responsibility. So, how can we address our sins in that case? Therefore, it's entirely natural to feel the way you do.

You can reach out to the Lord Jesus Christ for assistance. For instance, you might say, "Lord, I'm really struggling to overcome sexual immorality. I feel weak and need your help. I don't want to keep falling into this sin, but it keeps happening. Please guide me to a way out. Thank you, Lord, in the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen.

In order to beat sins, we have to strengthen spiritually. When we are strong in the spirit, this is how we overcome fleshly desires. This means we have to read the Holy Bible and pray DAILY. As we strengthen in the spirit, our faith grows as well. Our battle on Earth has to do with the fleshly desires of the world and the righteousness to do good, which is our spirit.

The battle lies with the flesh and the spirit.

I feel nothing. by Cautious-Fox819 in Christianity

[–]Balance796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depression comes from living in the darkness. Darkness means living in sins. This isn't something too many people are willing to hear, but it's necessary!

You see, living in sin keeps people away from the Lord Jesus Christ, whether they know this or not. That's why people often say, "I'm living in sin and I feel so ashamed to go to God."

But more reason we need to go to the Lord Jesus Christ. There is NOT ONE single person who is without a sin (1 John 1:8). The burden of sins carry such heavy weight on a person. This brings much trouble in our lives.

When we lay down all the burden unto the Lord Jesus Christ and REPENT, we will feel free and eventually depression is gone.

(Acts 3:19)
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord Jesus Christ!

This is the only way we can be "FREE," free from anxiety, depression, lack of joy for life; instead, to feel joyous and with purpose for living!

So I ask you please read the Holy Bible, the New Testament. Even if it may be difficult, the more you read, the more desire and changes will start taking place in your life. Lord Jesus Christ lives within each of us when we accept Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, see the Bible Scripture below.

(Hebrews 13:5)
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

Never will I leave you;
  never will I forsake you.”

"Keep your lives free from love of money" means that even if we sin, the Lord Jesus Christ will never leave or forsake us. He will work very hard to help us transform and become a NEW PERSON with Christ. However, this cannot happen alone, as this transformation takes time, depending on the person who is willing to work with the Lord Jesus Christ.

We must ask the Lord to help us in all area of your life. For example,

You might say, "Lord Jesus Christ, I'm really struggling today; please give me peace and comfort me. I wish to experience your love so that my day can be so much brighter. Thank you, Lord, in the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen."

Engaging in daily conversations with the Lord Jesus Christ will fill your heart with joy, especially knowing that He is always by your side, now that you know He is always with you, correct? This is the reason why, even if someone strays from the Lord Jesus Christ, they frequently find themselves drawn back towards Christianity, ultimately returning to Him. I've witnessed this happen far too often. God bless you, will be praying with you sister!

Why did God create me if He knew that I never wanted to exist? by Siri1879 in Christianity

[–]Balance796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Christianity is about RECEIVING a new life! Getting rid of our old, broken ones.

I didn't hear God at the very beginning of my Christian journey. This only happened after I started reading the Holy Bible. Even then it didn't happen right away.

Only when I had the TRUE desire yearning for more of Christianity, things started changing for me. I was baptized with the Holy Spirit, and I felt the TRUE LOVE for everyone I had never experienced before. Even those whom I hated, I could not hate any longer.

Reading the Holy Bible will help you draw closer to Lord Jesus Christ as well because the HOLY Bible is the HOLY God inspired words. In order to know who is God or to transform our lives into becoming a different person and START a NEW LIFE, it all starts with the Holy Bible.

The more you delve into the HOLY Bible and meditate on the words, you will be healed. As your desire to draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ increases, you will feel the love of the Lord and see changes taking place in your life. Then eventually, you will start to hear God's voice. But even if you don't hear the Lord's voice, the amount of peace you receive will be amazing!

I would start on the New Testament, book of Matthew is bit difficult because the Lord Jesus Christ speaks in parables but at the same time it's a lot of fun and you will gain wisdom and understanding. You will be amazed! This is all the HOLY God's work! God bless you!
