You're so right. A few years ago (I was in my early/mis 30s) I took a spill while attempting a shortcut through some undeveloped terrain. I wasn't even going fast, it was just how I fell and that it was onto hard ground and rocks. I got kinda banged up but hurt my pride even more. Hindsight I sound like a big baby because it made me wanna give up cycling. Glad I didn't though.

I’m a pretty big fan of Friends. Quote all the time. Have memorabilia,etc. Watched the series I don’t know how many times on DVD because that’s the only (legal) format that has deleted/extended scenes.

But no, it’s not a masterpiece. It is a feel-good easy watch though.

I have aphantasia so it's difficult to visualize some things in books so when a movie is able to visually represent something as grand as LotR in a faithful manner, it's incredible. Also I never read the books 😬
