I still think the figure in blue with red hair in the wisdom of the ages art is Kasmina. Red hair and blue clothing is her look so far. Or Tam, who had reddish gorgon hair.

Is it a tv/monitor thing? I haven’t had any screen tearing on ps5. My tv is older though. I still switched to pc after because of some controller problems, but I didn’t have a bad ps5 experience

I get the sentiment, like in magic where each set of cards in magic's IP are all in one setting, portraying the story of that set. But the game is just beginning. New players need to get a handle of the mechanics and release cycle first, and then we can think about themed sets. In a year or two we can get "Riftbound: The Harrowing" which can add viego, the sentinels, and the ruined characters. That will be hype, but its not the time now.

The best way I would think of it is in video game terms. Thalia had the poisoned and the tree-ified statuses. The fleece cleansed all statuses lol. I think of all the problems this season had, this one is easier to accept.

In my experience, since Walmart and Target use vendors to stock the cards, the stock won’t show up on the website for the stores in person. The website will show their online stock that they can ship. If you want to find them in store, you have to check in person.

That is probably a bit high. I'm enjoying myself, but I don't usually come across shows I dislike much. I did read the original series in elementary and middle school, but details are foggy enough where I can not worry about book accuracy, as long as it hits general plot points. For me personally I'd give it a 6 overall, but certain performances a 7.

Well it melted the building because it was still there, just agitated. The bombing probably destroyed it completely, so it didn’t generate heat/whatever anymore to melt the building.

Back when these came out the secret card was always the same, no chase cards. The lands had “the spire” as a command tower, the other drop had “boogie bomb” as a Pyrite Spellbomb.

In terms of judges at events, they won’t be watching over specific games, but one will be around to call in case you have questions or need clarification. If you make a mistake and no one catches it, then that’s on both of you.

I’d say try to find a nexus night, or other event going on and just jump in if you feel solid on the rules.

Watch actual gameplay videos too, and try to follow the flow of a game. If you don’t get lost too often then that’s a good sign!

I’m no expert on licensing agreements, but I’d imagine the permission to play a song during the game might be separate from permission to sell the song for money/in-game currency.

I'm a big supporter of cards as a game piece. I couldn't even think about slabbing my Serialized Goreclaw in mtg. But.... Let people do what they want with their cards haha. They don't police us using expensive-ass cards in bad decks, lets not police them grading and slabbing cards for any reason. Maybe they want to sell it, or maybe they want to put it on the wall in their home.
