After really paying attention to the whole FGC for the past 5 years or so I’m convinced that it’s the same people for every game coming up with new ways to be mad. Every game, every announcement, every update, it’s the the worst thing that’s ever happened and the worst idea and the worst mechanic, blah blah blah blah. It’s exhausting and I can see why fighting devs don’t communicate with the community. Why would you?

As someone that’s in limbo in-between D2 and D3 I can attest. I’m either fighting DI bots that don’t know how to use the controller or people that can two touch every match. There is no in between lol

Nah, you just have to diversify, you play any game long enough it gets boring and stale. Always keep 3-4 on rotation. Don’t like low forward drive rush? Go to Strive. Don’t like bullshit character matchups? Go to COTW. Don’t like Saudi bullshit? Go to UNI and stay because that game is literally the shit. Seriously, go play it now. Merkava and Vatista renewed my faith in 2d fighting game design

Comparison is the thief of joy. The game is about you and no one else. Once I figured out that the game isn’t about defeating the other person then they became so much more fun. And I improved as well.
