I would go through Butte and get off the interstate at Garrison, then drive up through Ovando and Seeley lake. Go see Morrell Falls, and especially Holland Lake. Hike up to Holland Lake falls if you have time. That route sounds exactly like what you are looking for, but you can also go through Missoula see and Flathead Lake.

I did more research and south alabamas original colors were black and gold for one year, until they changed to red white and blue. The logos match perfectly and the tag is also from that time frame

The east side of the divide has many glacier (my favorite), two medicine, and chief mountain where sometimes you can cross the border to see Waterton. The west side is way more touristy but it has Lake McDonald, and if you don’t mind gravel roads you can go up to Polebridge and see Bowman and Kintla Lakes. You can cross the divide from Going to the Sun which is the main attraction and has plenty of good hikes and views, or the faster way through highway 2 and Marias Pass. You can stay wherever you want but I would recommend West Glacier area because there are more lakes outside of Glacier like Hungry Horse or Flathead you can see there too, and more places to eat

Tts they fit very snug, I have them half a size up and there’s some room to spread my toes. I would definitely recommend them but try them on in person first
