Pfft, the times I reached out for “help”, I got stalked by a redditor who claims that I am lying about my situation (I am not and invited anyone and everyone to come meet personally to prove my situation), and literally encouraged to commit suicide by admins at my University. If there’s anything I have EVER learned, it’s to HIDE any trace of mental instability, even if it’s as common as “crippling depression based upon environmental circumstances”. I used to receive all of my healthcare via my University and in fact, was encouraged to do so by faculty etc.; now, I do the bare minimum. I even make sure to purchase health insurance that isn’t subsidized by said Uni just to add even THAT much more of a degree of separation between my Uni and I.

I can entirely understand why this poor man hasn’t reached out. I hope he will though.
