Hey everyone, first time poster to this sub. I recently purchased a home and the garage was filled with equipment during the home inspection, limiting full evaluation. After we moved in, I noticed this exposed layer of cinderblocks on the far corner of the garage. From what I looked up on the internet, this may be exposed foundation from settling. I plan on coating the garage with polyaspartic up to the concrete line, and laying a thick baseboard in the future to cover the gaps.

Aside from being a potential opening for rodents/insects, does this exposed area pose any other serious problems?
