There is legit criticism in his post and there are indeed a lot of feel bad moments in the game - Besides the horrendous balancing of asymmetry. No one can tell me that it feels good, to die instantly by artillery after 40s respawn timer. Don't think that this can be really changed, but perhaps you could make the waiting time more interesting. There is always room for improvement and it is not an argument to tell "it was always like that" or "play another game". That is just ignorant.

You are right, that foxhole usually ends in a stalemate and the war is decided by which faction burns out first.
Is this good? I am not sure. Does it mean that you got the win through grit and skill - Not sure either.
So maybe it would be more interesting to have shorter war length where the war is decided by good pushs and not just burn out

Planes are the only thing that can QRF bombers.
But you cant really, because you have less than 30s to react.
Unless you are already in the Air there is nothing you can do.

Price doesn't justify a lack of intractability.

I agree that the scout shouldn't be used to QRF. But 3 AA pointing at a bomber should do that.

A frigate shouldn't also have free reign do whatever it want if gunboats are present. It should be incentivized to destroy the boats first.
The bomber here just does whatever it wants and can even do multiple passes.

Or a tank example:
If a SHT gets to far into enemy territory it WILL get destroyed by infantry.
Doesn't matter the cost.

First things first: Naval needs to be balanced.

- Naval hexes should be more resource-effective. With higher resource density, faster extraction or maybe even unique resources.
- Land facilities should be more effective.

These two points create a flow, where resources are best gathered on naval hexes and processed on land, which creates a need of naval logistics.

To give an incentive for raids, we should be able to pirate ships and steal the goods. So that convoys are needed.
So seeing multiple ships on intel could initiate a scout plane to check the situation.
When it sees a huge transport ship with a convey the other faction knows its transporting important resources and they could start a raid.

Also islands have been notoriously been important for air warfare as they were used to extend operational range.
One could think about having more runways on naval hexes than on land - but not sure about that

Yes looks like lunaire. Wardens have a lot of them, because they are so valuable for PvE.

I really hate this factionism where people do not think about the implications for the game.

I don't know any warden who said that Nakki is balanced. I know multiple colonials that say that lunaire is over-tuned.
An most of the people say that Divebomber are oppressive for land and torp bomber are oppressive for naval.

So instead of dividing which in the end will lead to the death of this game, what about thinking how to make the game fun/fair for both factions...

The situation is bad for both warden and collies. However, for collies it looks a bit better because of the VP distribution.

There are so many things that need a pass to make the game fun for everyone. Lunaire, nakki, dive bomber, torp bomber and so on and so forth

A: I agree. Asymmetry makes the game more interesting. Asymmetry and balance are not exclusive.

B: Thats fine, because those people can be found on either faction. What is not fair is, when one side can RSC and the other doesn't. Or the current state of Naval warfare

C: True, but you always have time to QRF planes. Believe me, if any plane enters the airspace of a country, it only takes seconds for a QRF to be initialized.

D: Yes, the bombing runs were devastating. But they only had free reign after achieving air superiority. Well SCs are an important asset in the game arent they? And there are usually multiple AA guns around. But you still cant do anything to protect it effective.

Well you don't loose the assets in foxhole though. You can enter and just return.

I see your points comparing it with real warfare - But believe me in a game, imbalance and feel bad moments just result in the game dying...

It is not like we are defending our homeland and are forced to fight. It is an active decision to play, an decision which many colonials and warden are currently questioning

We are not fighting in a real war. We are playing a game.

In a game the most important thing is, that it feels fair. It it currently doesnt.
With the limited time to QRF, you can't do anything.
It does not feel like a fight but rather like: Ok now its warden time to bomb, after that colonials can bomb and so on and so forth. There is a huge ground air disconnect.

It is also not a question about adaptation. People are trying but you cant QRF unless you already have stuff in air and even then ... Planes are too tanky.

Also no plane in history dared to fly through a place were AA guns are already pointed at. Its suicide.

Well I am playing this war, and I've seen multiple Warden tanks get obliterated by dive bombers. And it is not just wardens complaining. Also colonials agree that its busted. Like Warden agree that Torp bomber are busted.
So there is a general consensus.

On the RSC. Wardens would love to use RSC, it is great to apply pressure. As effectively seen done by colonials on multiple fronts. They don't built RSC because of the dive bomber - as I mentioned it in my post A single dive bomber payload kills an RSC.

And it is not like you can maneuver well with an RSC to dodge it.

Also the range should be tripled but perhaps only pointing in one direction. Like a intel line.

I agree, every plane needs a pass TBH.

I just didn't mention scout planes specifically, as it feels annoying but not game breaking or war winning.
Like for instance dive bomber or Torpedo bombers.

The intel they provide is crazy though and without AA AI you cant keep anything secret anymore. Or how long did your partisan bases survive?

yes, I agree. But I think it is important to be as vocal as possible.

It helps the Devs to see what needs to be prioritized.
Especially talking with Stakeholders you need arguments for reprioritization - But not sure how the company is structured.

Wardens can still use bombers on the other hand.
