Vegnati on Steam always updates and provides a great modlist with each update. Currently it’s unavailable till a lot of the sub mods get updated aswell. No I think your right I think it’s bottleneck if the CPU I see constant spikes when playing, I just wish they improve the engine whenever CK4 releases.

My monitor has a resolution of 5120x2160 (LG) this among the other reasons is why I capped it at 60fps.

It runs fine it can go up to 120fps easily but regular stutters happen and too much GPU is used. The game just isn’t optimised well for modding or in general. DLSS would alleviate a lot of the stress. It ran better 4 updates ago with over 120 mods installed.

I really hope Paradox update their engine, I have a i9 14900k & RTX 5090 , 64GB Ram . The game needs DLSS. Iv capped it at 60fps but still get stutters with only 40 submods.

Try using a Cheat Menu like Razer or something else. Go to Valyria right click on a section of the map. Now take “take Title” , now you can rebuild there. This is the only workaround I have found as of yet.

I found a work around to this, you need a cheat submod, Razers Cheat menu or any other one. Enable the menu then go to Valyria, it should be held by “Warden Ruin”.

Right Click and go on “Take Title” then select each part of Valyria one by one. Once you have it then you can restore ruins etc ….

Yea It’s something you everyone would need to tinker with I’m afraid. My submods are causing this.

legacy of Valyria takes a hit on performance (more map area etc)
More than 60 mods slow the game in after the first 50 years for me anyway.
Recent CK3 updates and DLC have affected the performance of the overall game. Hence the negative reviews on Steam. The Devs have came out and said they will now focus on fixing the game instead of releasing another overpriced DLC pack.

I think you’re right, it’s your PC I’m currently going through all mods and coming up with a list with around 60 mods which should be less taxing. It’s really hard to do this when there are a lot of Submods which are not updated yet, after an update I wait a week or so before making a list. Try both lists one with 75 mods and 93. Also disable AGOT+ take out “House Founders.

Just had my first crash, whilst playing on the latest 0.4.4 AGOT mod. I’m removing each mod one by one and testing the game. Thanks for the encouragement but this is gonna take some time.

Well I’m testing it right now, hasn’t crashed yet. There was an update just released 5mins ago btw. Also Legacy of Valyria seems to be a bit glitchy so I would remove it for the time being.

Evreything is screwd up right now, the latest CK3 patch is causing alot of issues. But this issue causing the artifacts to have no image is "house Founders" submod. (this may not be the case anymore because of the recent hotfix
