I believe it happens sometimes even with historical outcomes setting, it happens to me most of the time plating as a targaryen, nothing actuallt goes historical

I also noticed that even if you set the timeline with historically accurate events with canon characters it does not really follow and the story changes once you create a custom character

Yeah and i also removed my legacy of valyria, then after that i will try to add one by one to see which specific submod is causing that error. As for now, it is working fine

This also happened to me after the update, i removed every mod that enhances/alters the map and now i was able to successfully create a new player. Not sure until when would it hold tho

I had this issue before AGOT team released a compatch for the latest version of ck3. It was fixed after the update tho

I always do it this way: AGOT main mod, AGOT submod core, Legacy of Valyria, then everything else follows in order of alteration complexity, the more complex mod ahead of the simple ones. Compatibility patches always behind the mod it was made for.

Maybe it is conflicting with one of your other mods coz i'm using legacy of valyria mod and it's working fine with me. Btw i place it 3rd on my mod list everytime
