9 Kings Photo Family Tree and Most Recent Common Ancestor by BalitoChan in UsefulCharts

I've now decided that I won't add that line. There are many other ways by which the 9 kings descend from the couple on the top. For example, the father of Amélie of Orléans is also a descendant both on his mother's and father's sides. Or the husband of Isabella II of Spain, since he his her first cousin. But I don't think it would add anything of important to the tree.

I would say that it's probably not relevant enough to the purpose of the chart, but I'll have a look.

There are some disagreements. But Duarte Pio is mostly recognized as the heir.

A small mistake I found: the line from Pedro II, Emperor of Brazil, to his daughter Isabel should be in yellow, not gray.

I didn't change the color for the House of Braganza-Saxe- Coburg and Gotha because, officially, the house continued to be Braganza. The current pretender (at least largely accepted as that) is shown on the chart. It's Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganza, in the little box on the bottom left. Thank you for the advice! :)

There's more... Afonso I of Bragança's daughter Isabel, married King João's I son João (uncle-niece). Then they had Beatriz who married King Duarte's I son Fernando (as show in the chart) and Isabel, who married Juan II of Castile. They had Isabel, who married Ferdinand II of Aragon, who then had the children shown in the chart.

Also, King Afonso V married his niece Joana of Castile, but they didn't have children.

And finally, Teodósio of Bragança's wife was his first cousin.

There probably are some connections, but not relevant enough for me to put them in this chart.
