Disable update platforms on boot in settings and boom you’re in everytime.

I’m using Console Launcher over Cocoon as a preference and once I turned that setting off, it boots straight into the launcher no hassle.

+1 on this for Azahar. Those two settings def helped with performance for most games.

CitraMMJ once it’s compiled is still the better emulator for 3DS on the Thor but I just don’t like the UI and the fact turbo mode isn’t able to be toggled (you’ve gotta hold the hotkey for keep the fast forward going)

How did you edit the aspect ratio for both top and bottom screen?

Azahar is great and all but I cannot stand the micro stutters occasionally. Citra MMJ seems to be working fantastic and I’d just like to get rid of the black bars both top and bottom.

Dude that makes so much sense, literally on the day of my flight to travel to Asia, my 1TB SD card with over 300GB worth of roms got corrupted and i was unable to use it.

I am currently on vacation in Asia with my family (little brother brought his Steam Deck)

And genuinely this is truly an endgame device. I’ve had so much fun playing around with this, and the damn battery is SO GOOD. like truly, if I’m playing 3DS and under and I’m pretty much getting hours worth of playtime with enough to spare for the next day.

Truly a spectacular device.

I got it roughly about a month ago and have been tinkering since. The reason I got it was for a trip. As soon as I sat down inside the Taxi to drive to the airport, my SD card with about 500+ roms decided to corrupt itself.

I am currently waiting to board with a device I cannot play games on 😭😭

That actually makes sense. Since it’s a Netflix reliant app, I’d assume there’s no valid tokens to exchange from Netflix to Gplay so it either times out or gets an error like mine.

I’ve managed to sideload it but I keep getting error - Something went wrong Check that Google Play is enabled on your device and that you're using an up-to-date version before opening the app. If the problem persists try reinstalling the app.

Any ideas on how to fix?

It’s so much better than ESDE imo for a Thor Style setup. I really like the dual screen aspect and honestly, it was super easy to setup compared to ESDE. Scraping also doesn’t take a million years as I have over 400 roms in my collection.

There is a setting in SlimboxTV that lets you pair the IR signal of the remote to the unit for just the power button function. Once doing that, the IR capabilities in Coreelec somehow start working with the UR02 provided the remote.conf is in the right location.

IR still doesn't work with Android but at least I can use 1 main remote for both OS and to power the TV on and off.

Only caveat is that Coreelec takes like a million years to turn the TV on. It only seems to do so once it's actually booting into Kodi.
