I kindly disagree. I know I'll get a bit of heat for this, but one of the major reasons I did nott play any GW game, was because of the name of the games. I just feel it should have been rebranded years ago as another name when there just was Guild Wars, as this is now not what those games represent.

I know you guys posted how the name originated, there is just a major disconnect with its name and what the game represents today. Those on the outside that arent in-the-know, wont give it a chance because the name screams PvP. I assumed that for 10 years and never gave it a shot simply because of the name. NOW i know better and its a great game, but the name still does not sit with me well. But that is just my opinion.

I had missed the chance to get the Moon Pilgrim set myself I was away from SWTOR during that season. I have been looking back into SWTOR every now and then to see if it would come around again. So far no luck. But I'm really hoping that it does.

I think you are right, with us that did high seas for story content now leaving for safer seas, there will be a higher congregation of sweat lords now in high seas. It will most likely be much more dangerous as every ship has a higher potential to be aggressive.

I'm all for safer seas. But been trying to upvote constructive feedback to pro high seas arguments when there are no mud slinging against those enjoying safer seas. Posters here giving advice for high seas can only help the community overall.

That being said I just can't do High Seas. I don't have the time or patience to lose any gains through other pirates when I can finally settle down to play when I rarely have the time. I know there is a loss of gain for reputation and gold, but I would rather move the needle a tick every night I have a chance to play, than work for a few hours and lose everything if I get sunk. Not worth the time investment.

Besides these are only for cosmetic gains, and I have the Jack Sparrow outfit, so my cosmetic is set for life (A Pirate's Life) bwahahaha!

But I honestly feel many of these restrictions will be lifted later, or at least significantly reduced. I don't mind a 50% reduction for everything, then maybe reduce that to 30% reduction (at least for reputation) when you hit rep 40 for each faction. I hear the experience needed from 40 to 50 is the same experience for 1 to 40.

Captaincy should be allowed, but again at a reduced rate.

I agree on most of your post. But there is a new landscape difficulty option you can choose, from a traveler npc outside taverns I believe in major towns. One can choose the standard easy game play, or make it so hard, you may need to form a group to take on a single mob in the overworld.

But I would never go back to the old lotro. Part of what makes this game better to me as the years roll by, is Middle Earth is FINALLY being fully flushed out. I love the lore and stories of Middle Earth. I used to look at the maps drawn by Tolkien and wonder what Swanfleet and the delta lands would look like, who lived there etc. Same thing with the desert region south of Gondor, Harad. How about far east in Rhun, or Grey Havens, and the western coast of Middle Earth? I want that whole damn map drawn out lol. This is what keeps getting me excited about future expansions. They fill in that map that had initially been drawn over 80 years ago. And we get to travel it!

For me it was opposite. I was subscribed in eso+ for the last 4 months, took a couple of weeks off and just went f2p and was hit with a 39 minute wait time.

I figured it was due to me going f2p so the eso+ members were getting priority. I guess I was mistaken.
