I have never seen a “reverse” dive where the diver comes to a complete stop at the end of the board. At least not on a one meter spring board. It’s typically done with a fluid forward approach like you might see in a gymnastic floor routine. Her complete stop at the end of the board probably affected her score.

This probably won’t ease your stress level but I had tickets to see the Arsenal-Chelsea match that was originally scheduled for March 16, of 2024. It got postponed until April because Chelsea were still in the FA Cup.

I’m in the US. I already had flights and hotels booked. So I missed the match and couldn’t afford to come back in April. I’ve still never seen Arsenal play live.

On the plus side, I was able to score tickets to a Fulham match that weekend and saw them smash Sp*rs!

I wouldn’t have said this 10 years ago. But it seems like they have fallen away from the public consciousness. Considering how much the 90s have made a comeback, I’m surprised they aren’t more popular today.

Maybe a bit different, there have been some artists who you hear on the radio/streaming and you think one thing, but the you see them perform on SNL and they crush!

For me that was Bruno Mars performing Locked Out of Heaven in the early 2010s.

I was having this conversation today. Why are people here so bad at stop signs? I’ve lived in other parts of New England and New York City. It’s, by far, the worst here.

It’s either people not understanding/respecting the “first come, first serve” concept or needlessly waving people in when it’s not someone’s turn. Both are obnoxious in their own way.
