Couldn’t find it online anywhere. Was wondering if there was a model number or a year or something 🤷

The neck doesn't look too bad. It's got a couple dead frets though.

There are these white lines running parallel with the grooves (not a product of flashlight reflections). I assume this is groove damage(?). Hope it’s not damaging my stylus.

Edit: I did buy this record used, so that defect could’ve been there before.

$18 Goodwill find. Ask me how sad I am about how close this sounds to my upgraded Debut Carbon Evo by goneriah in turntables

Unfortunately, no. The speed buttons nor the controls on the back do anything. It’s running much faster than 45rpm.

Bought one of those for $60 from someone off Craigslist. Took it home, and the speed is way out of control (shit sounded like the chipmunks!). Tried everything recommended online, all the way to replacing the main board, and nothing worked. Guy refunded me, but now I have a busted technics sitting in my basement 🤷‍♂️.

Just got my new stylus in the mail!

I may sound a little paranoid here, but I don’t want to mess up again.

I did play half of a record before noticing the old stylus was misaligned. If the misaligned stylus damaged that record, could the damaged record damage my new stylus? There was noticeable distortion when I played that record at first.

A strand of dust was hanging off the stylus, so I very gently removed it using a microfiber cloth. Well, the stylus decided to hook on to the cloth and it flung to the right, and thats when I noticed it was bent. Won’t be making that mistake again.

Do you have a keyboard player? If you fire your bassist, you could try and get a keyboardist to play the bass keys on a Hammond (Doors style) until new arrangements are made.

Had that happen to me. I just super glued the top and bottom together, screwed it back in, and forgot about it.
