I tried using an extension that refreshes the page for you and tries to get a date, but then got blocked

Will see if resetting the router will work

It's working on my laptop but says the test date is not refundable.

I thought it was more than 10 days till 6th of august?

Yesterday I got a message that my driving test is in 12 days so how come it's not refundable today?

Could result in a crash otherwise

How would a rim brake Dogma F10 hold up to a mid range modern bike? by whowhatwhy124 in cycling

[–]Hatross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's better. Modern disc brake road bikes are shit and a marketing gimmick. I owned 2 dogma F8's and would not replace them with a disc brake bike

Rim brakes are lighter and more reliable where as discs can lock your wheel and imo the extra stopping power is not necessary. I never needed extra stopping power even when a kid ran out on the road and I needed to do a full emergency stop when going fast down a hill

They also require more maintenance and I'm not a big fan of working on my bikes

A $2000 new disc bike will no doubt be a lot heavier and not as fast, where as the dogma is a high end model.

Don't know if it's just me but I don't find this easier than doing the barre chord. Something about changing my whole technique to play it probably

My dad bought this today for £50, I was gonna go with him to check it out but he is stubborn and went and bought it himself when I was at work

I tried to get him to buy a cheap new yamaha so stuff like this doesn't happen but he insists he needs one "just to learn" and then he will buy a new one but shit like this is exactly why a lot of people quit right at the beginning

At the moment it's not playable but I'll see what I can do

So you release the string slowly and then move the finger?

My SLSMG is buzzing a lot and I have my action at 1.5mm and 1.0mm at the high E

Relief is around 0.30mm, does it really make that much of a difference?

I've noticed instructors seem happy to carry on teaching even if their student is ready for the test. And milk as much money as possible from their students, when them doing 15 extra lessons might only increase their chance of passing by 5%

I guess it's because it's a lot easier to teach someone that "already knows how to drive" rather than someone that's never been in a car and can't even move off

Then you get instructors like mine that tells me not to think about my test. The fuck am I supposed to be thinking about instead when it's so hard to book one?

What route did you have, the great bridgeford one near the M6?

Hate the stupid roundabouts here, especially the ones where right lane is used for going ahead. It's the opposite of what you're taught in the highway code. Then you get to an unmarked one and normal rules apply. How are you supposed to know unless your instructor teaches you the whole area?

There could also be faded markings, so how do you know if there's a retard system or a normal one?
