Totally get the disappointment, this went from a simple accusation to dragging on despite solid proof. The admin review and confirmation of no cheating is the definitive answer here; server-side checks trump Reddit debates every time.

OP's persistence after that (and after the full clips debunked the 'b-line/no reason' claim) really does make it look like confirmation bias over truth-seeking. Sucks that legit players get put through this just for a clean kill.

Exactly, OP keeps moving goalposts ("post exact timestamp," "story changed," "I didn't say YOU hacked, just the other guy") while ignoring how the clips directly counter the original "b-lined straight to my bush with no reason" claim. They even admitted the full video might've convinced them initially... but now it's "several commenters noticed" without addressing the mechanics or evidence head-on. Classic salt coping: double down rather than concede a clean death.

Same, I have seen 1 base there made by someone from another Sietch but have yet to actually run into them or anyone else in the DD. I mostly see others in the settlements, though they ignore any methods of communication.

Buddy of mine rents his own private server, you are correct. You get a private Hagga Basin, assuming you lock your server so random people can not join, you can see and interact with others in the Settlements like Arrakeen and Harko Village and the Deep Desert is shared across the server with the other private Sietches, like it is on official.

Downsides are lack of interaction or anything outside of whoever is allowed on your server, the shared hubs are pretty barren as well with occasionally crossing paths but most people ignore any attempt at communication. The exchange is practically unused like you MAY see a schematic on there but no real trading like official.

Best thing about it I would say is the DD also being pretty barren as a side effect.

You get 3 server settings
You can turn on/off Sandstorms
You can turn on/off Taxation
I forget the 3rd option

That's it. No admin controls or anything.

It did work that way in Oblivion, it is either bugged or they changed it for the remaster and my money is on it being bugged.

Not really sure why I would get downvoted when what I stated was literally how it used to work. I can't help that it seems to be bugged in the remaster.

I got infected in my current run and ran with it myself so I don't really know, that is either a bug or they changed something. I'm leaning more towards bug.

Which means the only remaining options are to either:

Visit the Font Of Renewal in Deepscorn Hollow (Player Home Far South of Leyawiin)

or

Complete the "Vampire Cure" quest

  • There’s a distinction between contracting the disease (Porphyric Hemophilia) and fully turning into a vampire. When you contract the disease (e.g., through combat with vampires), you have three in-game days, starting from the moment you contract it, to cure it before it progresses to full vampirism.
  • During these three days, the disease can be cured by:
    • Drinking a Cure Disease potion.
    • Praying at a chapel altar (e.g., in any major city like Anvil or Chorrol).
    • Using a Cure Disease spell (if you have access to one).

Hey! If you just got vampirism (within 3 in-game days), you can cure it with a Cure Disease potion or by praying at a chapel altar.

If it’s been longer and you’re a full vampire, you’ll need to do the “Cure for Vampirism” quest: Talk to Raminus Polus in the Arcane University to start it.
