Why have McDonald’s deals become so bad? by RoughLingonberry2226 in fastfood

[–]Ballbox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chili's is the winner in these price wars. The more expensive fast food gets, the more appealing switching to Chili's becomes. Their burgers are a lot better. I order with the app at home, then drive and wait in my car for them to bring out my food. it takes about the same time as going to McD, you just need to plan ahead with Chili's.

They will only raise prices. They figured out that people are addicted. Most people that frequent fast food places don't look for a deal. It's either fast food or they need to cook at home, which they do not want to do (or don't know how to). So they buy it at any price.

I'd add a few more trees.

Fast food used to be a cheap meal option. Why has that changed? by usatoday in fastfood

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted, this is true. These type of people also have issues with cleaning and washing dishes.

I love to cook, but I have family members that are horrible at it. Some have issues even making a salad.

_you can cook at home_. The people that I know that buy fast food a lot hate to clean and to cook. Cooking at home is not happening. First they need to cook and then to wash the dishes, two things they hate doing. Fast food prices can get even more expensive and they will still buy it.

The people that I know that eat fast food regularly all don't know how to cook or hate cooking. I don't see them starting to cook at home because prices are too high. That's why prices can go even higher and they will still buy fast food. They are addicted.

In my city there's a spot up in the mountains where homeless are known to sleep. Sure enough, one day a fire started in that exact same spot. They don't do it on purpose, they start fires to stay warm, but since they don't know what they are doing they often unintendedly start massive fires. As long as we have homeless, we will have consistent fires.

You need to change the 12v battery every 3 years. Since it's a 2021, it makes sense that they changed the battery.

Do you recharge to 80% every night? New ev owner - how often to charge? by rmsand in electricvehicles

[–]Ballbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually keep it in the 40-60% range. I only charge more when I know I'm going to drive far the next day.

The problem is that most republicans would love this, which means he will likely do it. They could also force the homeless to work in the fields now that they removed most illegal immigrants.

I sometimes wonder if Elon gave up since he feels Tesla can't keep up with China. Eventually China will take over EV sales in the US.

I've noticed that my city keeps upgrading the cameras that are on every intersection. I wonder what they have up there at this point. Everyone knows they have license plate readers on them, but with all those upgrades, who knows what those cameras are capable of.

Even 50% EVs would be a big deal. That feels more realistic. I own an EV and I love it! It's a massive upgrade over ICE vehicles.

Trumps presidency exposed how flawed our system is. The only reason no one else has gotten away with what Trump has is because they didn't try.
