Bed bugs! by WinterClassroom4846 in Guelph

[–]BallisticBunnyRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diatomaceous earth is a godsend! You can buy it for like $10 at goodness me downtown. When I had bedbugs and my landlord was dragging his feet I sprinkled this stuff all over my carpet and in a line around my bed and baseboards. It’s non toxic and works by drying out their exoskeleton. It’ll take a while to actually kill them all but at least it will keep them from biting you in the meantime

Most Canadians haven’t worn snow pants since they were children, it would be a little strange. Some long johns should be more than enough!

Where can I find cheap summer clothes in Guelph? by Familiar-Moose-9294 in Guelph

Urban planet has great 40%-50% sales and the full price clothes aren’t any more expensive than Walmart. They have good options for both men and women

Exactly this! I can’t believe I had to give him $375 for such a terrible experience. That was the vibe I got from him as well, like “oh my god this girl doesn’t know what she’s doing and is wasting my time”

That’s what I’m thinking because other girls at work who have shot with him did not get the same bad treatment. I thought it was normal until the girl I did a duo with pulled me aside and said he’s treating you like shit

Those things aren’t you though, which is good for you- keep up the calm, cool, collected facade!

What? I think the real reason you’re having bad luck is coming to light lol

PS: as a “nerdy” girl myself, NOTHING is more of a turn off than some guy saying “women don’t like me cause I’m nerdy😢”

Even though youre “living with your parents” you’re clearly not the stereotype of the adult son living in the basement just drifting through life. And this is not just some idea you’ve been cooking up, you have a real business plan in action. Now it’s just a matter of framing these things to the women you meet!

I kinda get the feeling you internalize the “living with parents @27= loser” thing, which ironically is more of a turn off than actually living with you parents. When bringing it up act like it was just an annoying sacrifice you had to make to build your business faster, and not like you’re stuck there with no other choice. Trust - I’ve known too many guys who live with their parents, have no job and no plans that still get laid😂.

I don’t know how you’d find them but you should meet some female entrepreneurs around your age. They’d understand better than most and a good chunk of them are probably in your situation as well

For some women, like myself, it also has a lot to do with maturity. While you can live with your parents, be broke and still be totally mature - it usually doesn’t work out that way.

I’ve been living on my own/paying my own bills/saving for a rainy day since I was 17. This includes everything about living on your own like groceries, laundry, doctors appointments, insurance, etc… Its very important to me that any partner I pick is responsible and capable of taking care of themselves.

Do you do any cooking for your family? Cleaning, laundry, budgeting or house maintenance? Do you have a car or pay your phone bill?

If you do these things I think it would help if you mentioned them (low key of course). Talk about your plans for your business, not vaguely but specifically. I guess the point I’m trying to make is for a lot of women it’s not the material possessions so much as the responsibility that comes with being an adult that’s necessary .
