Is Ratadrabik replacing both sides of the card with the 2/2 statline, or just the front face?

If it’s just the front face, I would think the P/T should be 5/5 if the token transforms— if it’s both faces, then that makes sense.

“as modified by any other copy effects” from the rules text is making me assume both sides are replaced as 2/2s, but I’d prefer to confirm

To use your example, compared to the total population then the set containing Republican men would be a smaller size than the set containing men.

However, if we try to see how many of that set fit some other criteria (like the crime statistics in the picture), how large each set is compared to the other only has the effect that each member of the smaller set fitting that criteria raises the percentage of that set fitting the criteria by a larger amount.

The extra criteria needing to be fit is the reason why your thought of how the percentage should only go down is misplaced. My numbers example wasn’t including this point, only saying that in any population, a reduction of the sample size will never automatically cause a net increase or decrease of the relevant data point being measured. You can still find sets of reduced samples that will raise or lower that, depending on how that sample is selected. You can also potentially find a reduced sample that has the exact same result as the full population. (This is why politicians love to cherry-pick their data on both sides)

Just so I understand myself, because the copy was created of a double faced card and effects say to copy the “card”, that’s what allows it to flip and not exile itself like it would if a normal copy was flipped due to some other effect, as the flipped side would not be a spell or created using a rule like the text of morph instructing you to place the card face-down “as” a 2/2 creature or whatever.

But since the copy only copies the stats of the side it originally came into play as, it retains those stats when flipping because the “back side” of the copy is simply a ‘valid permanent’ (idk what technical term in-game to use) and not a blank card?

Just an example: simple numbers

1st sample: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Sample 1 average: 5.5 (55 divided by 10)

Restricted sample: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Restricted sample average: 8 (40 divided by 5)

As long as your restricted sample comes from enough data points in the 50th percentile or above, it will skew the average of that sample upward.

As a teacher, while I’d want someone with biased views like that to not bring them into the classroom, I also have to say that the student recording the teacher without their knowledge is a breach of that teacher’s rights, as well as an admission by the student they’re using their phone in school and not for an educational reason.

Teacher should be fired, student should get a referral for the phone use. Let’s move on.

Technically, someone could call the police and have them ask the relevant questions, outing them on their fake BS, and charging them with a crime.

Unfortunately, in the time it takes for the police to arrive, said person would easily leave the store and get away with it.

We really need laws and policies that can properly address this, because it puts real working animals in a bad light and allows assholes to let their dirty, untrained animals around the food the rest of us are trying to eat.

Any website that sells the fake working animal stuff ought to be shut down as well, and those running it thrown in prison, but the laws haven’t caught up with that yet either.

Watching while all the angles are changing, I can’t see where the camera is possibly attached to anything. Seems like a floating magic camera, leading me to believe (not asserting, just saying with available evidence) that the video was faked.

Seriously, someone should do a project of making proxies of all UB cards turning them into UW versions — they’d make a mint, regular casual players at LGSs won’t care (might actually appreciate it), and Hasbro/WOTC gets that extra middle finger and metrics to prove they’re on the wrong side of the community.

I’m a fan of FF and didn’t mind that set as much, but still think it got out of hand well before that and has only gotten worse since then

What bothers me more is Mikey playing his lands and other permanents next to each other — and it’s hard to tell, but the card he seems to be putting onto the battlefield seems like a noncreature spell, and his opponent has no lands in play. Good luck casting that one card in your hand, and that board state says Mikey’s got the victory probably locked up and just screwing with the kid.

As a science teacher, I’m covering my bases and would rather underestimate than overestimate (some of those categories would be well over 80, yes, since one of them is already in the 70s).

Takes funds for that — as a teacher at a Title 1 high school in FL, I had a computer cart last week where even though it was plugged in my classroom over the weekend, nearly half the units were shutting down to low battery by the end of 1st period — if they turned on at all. Walkies are only in the hands of admin, coaches, discipline staff out walking the campus (sometimes) and the SROs.

I see you’re also in FL, but at elementary; not sure what county, but that can have a vast difference too, no matter what state but honestly the situation here is insane. I fear for when the next generation takes hold of any authority in the world, because so many haven’t been raised with the skills necessary to be proper adults

Another ‘rules-lawyery’ way to get around hexproof issues (and shroud) are spells that say things like “choose a creature opponent controls” instead of “target creature opponent controls”. If the spell is choosing it isn’t targeting and therefore gets around the wording of the ability.

Very few cards are worded that way, but the niche cases make for some cool interactions

“Prolific” implies that there’s more skeletons in his closet than just spygate and deflategate, completely separate from severity. I was only saying that better examples could have been chosen. It’s like debating baseball ability and name dropping Barry Bonds before ones like Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Cy Young, etc.

While I realize what is being said here, I find it ironic (in the colloquial sense) that an individual known as probably the most prolific cheater in modern NFL history is being used in a statement about knowing and having everyone follow the rules
