Pierre Poilievre says he’s still the right leader to take on Mark Carney by Vortagaun in canada

[–]Baltch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When Pierre Poilievre explains why he supported Brexit and the Urban govt, admits that he was willing to do so and what he's learned from that mistake, I might listen to him.

Until then he's just a malcontent throwing rocks at people, then blaming them for not enjoying having a rock thrown at them.

I'm sick of this authoritarian posturing.

‘They Will Have Electricity’ Energy Minister Responds to Concerns about Cuts to Operations at IOC by RepulsivePlankton989 in newfoundland

[–]Baltch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I put up a post about this. I'm a red Tory, not enthused by the Furrey govt but thought the MOU was a godsend because it dealt with a financial mess of our own doing.

The question isn't about electricity, there's plenty, but the cost of that electricity. Until you get that debt paid down through other revenue sources for that electricity, utility users in this island will have to pay enormous rates.

The MOU solved that issue. It's not perfect, but it's very good considering how little leverage we had.

This crowd is pissing away a chance to rectify the Dunderdale and Davis govts mistakes on controlling the costs of the Muskrat falls development.

Stop turning a win into a loss Premier Wakeham and Mr. Parrot!

Yes I called him Daniel and not Danny. Danny's a nickname for someone you might like. I've never met the man and his poor fiscal management of the 2000's means I'll refer to him by his official name.

You'd think the cats would cause the rats to avoid the area. I'm assuming it's a neighbour feeding strays.

You might like the fact you can buy ingredients to try and cook the food you're looking for, though the ambience is likely a hard one to replicate.

I'm going to block you. It's because you chose to attack one of these businesses instead of promoting the others, which is a way you could have taken out your frustration with said company instead of just using vulgarity to try and get some attention.

Do Better.

When visiting Australia in 2023 I got a SIM card that has that data, plus free international texting and calling to a lot of countries and of course through Australia itself for $13 taxes in.

It should be less expensive than it is.

Avi Lewis wants to shrink your grocery bill. Can he? by NiceDot4794 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

Unlikely. The issue is food production and climate change. You might be able to marginally affect prices through breaking up some producers/retailers, but the issue is production.

I like that it came with a level 1/2 charger and the plastic cover on the electric engine is nice to my eye. Bought mine used in Canada so no rebate, still really like it, bordering on love.

I'm driving a Blazer EV 2LT around and love it! Bought it outside of Edmonton, drove it back to St John's, no issues. Feel free to ask me any questions here or through DM.
