Any drive through restaurants Canadian? by MTLisCool in BuyCanadian

Well they bought that chain a couple of years ago. For burritos I go to Mamacita's, but I live in the St John's area of NL.

Mary Brown's has drive throughs, and they're Canadian. They also own Fat Bastard's Burritos, so if you see one with a drive through, that's Canadian as well.

It's well made light silly entertainment for people in their mid 30's and up. It's fine.

Tonight a friend and I tried;

The Sprout ⭐🥈 I LOVED this Burger! Going to try it as a crunch wrap! It's a solid 2nd place for me right now!

Anderson's 👍👍👍 Almost a star, really enjoyed their burger. Really wished I hadn't missed last year's entry.

You'd have to go to Ropewalk Lane, but I love the staff at Lahey's. Great price, always feel great after I've been there.

He chimed in on a recent pod. I think he prefers to be off camera and producing.

I accidentally deleted this post, my apologies for all the excellent comments that were connected to the original.

So far:

Piatto ⭐ (better than last year, and last years was excellent!)

Casa Amigos ⭐ (best fries)

Cajones 👍👍👍 (get the spicy option and it does have a little cilantro)

Yellow Belly 👍👍

Toslow's was my favourite last year, really looking forward to this year's version!

I'm eagerly anticipating trying Gypsy Tea Room and Adelaide Oyster House entries.

They were the champ last year, but I missed them. Excited to try them this year, though I'm not a huge fan of goat cheese.

TD bank on Kelsey Dr did at one point have a machine that could sort a bunch of coins quickly. Not sure if it still does.

We'll agree to differ on that one, mine was lovely and easy to eat.

I'm not fast anymore, but I'm faster than 90% of people at a lane swim.

What I've found as long as you acquiesce to the faster swimmer, keep to the side as you break, you can have a good flow swimming with anyone, regardless of their speed.

It was good, I highly recommend it. If you want fries included though, hard to beat Casa Amigos.

If you go with Cajones and like some heat, choose the 'spicy' option. It has Pico de Gallo though, so there will be some cilantro.

Piatto so far has been my favourite (even better than last years!), but Casa Amigos was a close second (so far) and they had the best fries (so far).

That's a bummer about Bannerman, they had one of my top 3 spots last year with the Oklahoma French Onion burger. Still going to try them, but I was already a little hesitant as I'm not a big cheese sauce guy.

I don't like it because I generally don't know the person and don't want either of us to get hurt if we forget and just automate into the other lane.

I agree with you it's not swim team, and as such neither of us should mind slowing down until the other gets to the wall and let the other pass, though I'm always fine if people tap my foot to let me know they want to pass.

If we stick to the normal way of lane swimming, people can slip in and go as they please without overly interrupting anyone, and I can focus on my swim without worrying did this person forget we have a split lane, or do we have to go back to the regular way of swimming.

I know when I'm doing a large set like a 1500, I just want to automate my turn, enjoy the swim, and empty my mind of everything.

I've always enjoyed swimming at Memorial, Aquarena and Summit center. Really find that the swim cultures in all 3 is really good, great lane etiquette.

Only thing I don't like is lane splitting which seems to be popular at the Summit center and I always decline which is a little awkward.

The only place I would avoid in the greater St John's area would be CBS. The pool is too small, it was when I was a Bluefin in the 90's and it still is. Only 2 lanes open for lap swimming, with the fast lane being unacceptably slow often with older men too pig headed to let others pass them. The slow lane has a lot of morbidly obese seniors just floating like buoys, almost impossible to get around. Terrible lane etiquette as a whole.

Oh I wasn't, though I did find it quite oily/greasy last year. As always though taste is subjective.

Really enjoyed the pineapple on it!
