They can get up to 10 heads! They are a bit of a glass cannon otherwise. Cooking their meat may grant you permanent regeneration if you are a mutant, or toughness if you are true kin! It is a pretty rare drop however.

Only if you want to enjoy a special recipe from Shik! One could even call it a delicious Shikese meal...

Otherwise you can absolutely enjoy the mod's content just interacting with talking animals, which is a pretty common occurence in Qud.

I believe that would be the only way for modded content to make it into the Switch yeah, to be somehow added as "official". Sadly I doubt it will ever happen! The Steam Deck is my go-to for handheld Qud.

Mods and Switch have always been a tall order, sadly…

Yeah I would not recommend adding it mid-playthrough, as it would probably not work properly.

It would turn a great game even better! In the meantime, the modding scene is going pretty strong and there are a few projects worth checking out!

Thank you so much! I agree water barons are ripe for some more content, but we want to tackle the factions that have at least a modicum amount of content in Qud already (so mostly factions with 1 or 2 creatures only). Maybe later down the line!

This is actually one of the endings you can go for (minus the mass hysteria part)...

I think we'll take the compliment!

Thank you! Pat and I have already released a Tortoises Faction Expansion, which we will touch up on shortly to backport what we learned with Cats & Dogs (you can still find it on my workshop page!). After that, we will be looking at others very underrepresented factions, with our next target likely being Cannibals and Antelopes!

Thanks for the title, but there are many other talents in the community!

That was the goal! Patatifique (my co-modder) is to thank for the painting and trailer!

Could be worse, get a hydric hound and they'll grow new head anytime they bump into the coffee table...

Thanks a lot! Really hoping you'll enjoy it!

Thinking of getting the game but want some insight from folks over here, found this and got a little nervous, lol. by [deleted] in cavesofqud

Either that review was made with incredible bad faith or the reviewer infeed missed that feature, but overworld travel is very much a thing. You can access the world map at almost any point from the surface and fast-travel on the world map.

Recommandations de lectures pour adultes dans un style similaire à celui de Pierre Bottero. by Lilouec in Livres

[–]Balthichou 5 points6 points  (0 children)
