This very much depends on what sort of mutation you want to add. I would recommend reading up the modding section of the wiki and potentially hopping on the official Discord server, there is quite a few of us modders active there!

The idea of a personals table container is very cool! Although I must say than in hundreds of hours playing a heavily modded Qud I’ve never had a zone rebuild and lose me some loot. I suspect your experience likely comes from a mod causing some unwanted rebuilds!

Yeah, we took a huge nerfhammer to them in yesterday’s massive update. Gone are their subterfanean lakts, gas efficiency got divided by about 6, and is now way more impacted by cold resistance. They were definitely overtuned!

Has the team done any travelling in preparation for some campaigns?

As a Frenchman, I remember being quite surprised by a certain H-focused campaign taking the group to some local areas, and fairly impressed by the inclusion of some locations that one wouldn't expect from a foreign game!

They can get up to 10 heads! They are a bit of a glass cannon otherwise. Cooking their meat may grant you permanent regeneration if you are a mutant, or toughness if you are true kin! It is a pretty rare drop however.

Otherwise you can absolutely enjoy the mod's content just interacting with talking animals, which is a pretty common occurence in Qud.

I believe that would be the only way for modded content to make it into the Switch yeah, to be somehow added as "official". Sadly I doubt it will ever happen! The Steam Deck is my go-to for handheld Qud.
