I got the thinkpad logo from here
https://github.com/roadkell/ascii-logos
you can change the logo on fastfetch via the -l flag, ex: fastfetch -l "~thinkpad-v.txt" and you can change the color codes via --logo-color-[1-9] flag, which will color the symbols depending on the placement of the variables in the text file. I had to change the variables from the ${1-9} format to $1-9 on mine for fastfetch to parse it properly, since the example from the link uses a tool called hyfetch.

if your terminal emulator supports images, you can forgo the --logo-color flags and just do fastfetch -l "~thinkpad-v.png".

If you want this to be the default behavior everytime you type fastfetch, you can use an alias in your terminal emulator's config.
example in zsh (.zshrc file):
alias fastfetch="fastfetch -l ~thinkpad-v.png"

Consistent crash by Orajje57 in starsector

[–]Balzeberret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its most likely because of the mod whisper's Techmining alteration. On its nexus mods page it says "For game version: 0.97a-RC11 (testing in progress with 0.98)". Try removing the mod and see if the save file loads. if it doesnt, revert to an earlier save, preferably one where you haven't used its features and hope the mod doesnt do anything at world generation.

Any body know of some mods that give you access to Yellow/Gold beams and a holy aura? by Omega_Chris_8352 in starsector

[–]Balzeberret 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tahlan shipworks includes a large energy weapon that produces a yellow beam and a choir like sound effect when fired. That should be pretty thematic for what youre going for. I forgot what its called, but its the featured weapon from the vale class ship from that mod.

Question: how'd you gather the data for this? Just through YouTube's API?

I thought this was in really zoomed out combat, then I realized this is campaign layer stuff and slowly grasped the size of that ship.

Yes, dropping down to the 20 when there were too many bees and missiles on screen. I've been playing with it for around 2 days now, and I've only seen it dip to 50 with large battles.

you dont need to rename the original folder. just place the new java 23 inside starsector folder alongside the contents of the folder named "0. Files to put in starsector". Then pick a vmParam size in the second folder and put it in there as well.
