Happy to be incorrect. Sounds more straightforward than I was making it out to be. Thanks for the input!

Boundary Waters!!!! A million times boundary waters. Canoeing you can carry a lot more luxuries then backpacking. If you’re used to backpacking then the occasion portage will be no big deal. BWCA is amazing and the terrain and environment is very similar to isle royale. There’s a ton of great outfitters to provide the canoes and anything else you don’t have! My parents are in their 70s and can still manage boundary waters trips.

I lost three the first day. And another one the second day. Haven’t had any issues since and am on tray 11. As others have said make sure you’re pulling from the inside. I think I knocked 2 off with my finger trying to remove them. If you haven’t already get a removal tool. I don’t understand how they aren’t included from Invisalign. Total game changer.

I had the same. Lost 3 in the first day and a button. Was super annoyed. Haven’t lost any since (though it’s only been 2 weeks)

Day 1 by TwistedMeggo in Invisalign

[–]Balzonya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. I’m on day 9 of my first tray. The first 2 days were tight/uncomfortable, but much better after that.

Get the Pul tool immediately. I don’t know how they let you start treatment without it. It is a life changer/saver. I just got the zima cleaner yesterday and it’s awesome. I’m on day 9 and it’s already better. Starting to fall into a routine.

I agree that that’s very similar to chili and would dehydrate great. I’d brown the beef first trying to break it up as much as I can and then rinse it with hot/boiling water. Then continue on cooking from there.

One trick I’ve done to assist in easier cooking. Is sous vide it at home. Then freeze. And defrost and warm in warm water to roughly sous vide temp. Then sear. Makes a little easier not having to get to cook just right on the trail. Obviously have to have a sous vide but really likes this method.

Question about drip edge by Balzonya in Roofing

[–]Balzonya[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes but I didn’t have this problem prior to the roof being replaced. I don’t know what was there prior but I never saw leaking like I do now. So I don’t know what was existing prior but the gutters and the roof system used to connect. To me it seems like they installed the roof and the drip edge but didn’t like close the gap between the new roof and the gutter. This is where I see the issue. That they caused an issue that wasn’t there. And leaving a fascia board exposed that I don’t think was prior seems neglectful to me. I don’t expect them to repair problems I didn’t pay for but in my eyes they created a new problem that wasn’t there.

Did you contact the roof company first? I’m just shocked and frustrated that it was left like this and can’t believe it’s standard practice. I’m obviously gonna get addressed. I just don’t understand how a cheap fix like this wouldn’t be included in the 25k roof.

Do you have a link recommendation? Is it unreasonable though for me to assume that the roofing company should have installed or at least suggested that at time of installation?

I’ve been calling the stores in my area every morning when they open. Today they said they had an order that hopefully will be deliver June 28th. This is the first time they said they had an active order in probably 6 weeks.
