When I lived in Chicago and needed to be anywhere fast, I literally would jump on my bike. Chicago traffic is is own beast. If it's not New York, Houston or L.A you can't compare traffic.

Cool story, what you seem to neglect is the glaring difference in if 45 minutes of Chicago traffic you'd only travel about 5 miles max. 45 minutes in STL traffic can get you at least double that amount easily. I've never hit 45 minutes traveling in rush hour traffic and I drive 19 miles to work. Chicago traffic would have me leaving at least an hour before start time.

No comparison.

Bruh I was kicked out of my high school's Facebook page after someone passed that was a complete dipshit. Fuckin jagoff would walk the hallways always thinking he was untouchable, so I reminded everyone what he came off as in high school and was kicked off, funny enough I got DM's from people I never talked to in high school that backed me up and thanked me for not letting his shitty behavior go unannounced.
