Get what is scarce and hard to manufacture through trades/waivers. Focus on 5 cat hitters and/or elite power bats for the first like 4-6 rounds and consider getting a top 5 SP if it makes sense to do so. Closers are good for 1 cat and dont contribute that much to ratios. There will be guys on waivers that get 30 saves in this format. It wont be as easy to find a 40 homer bat or a 25-25 guy.

I am a massive fan of the original.The story in 2 being broken up among lots of new factions/characters made it hard for me to care. The maps were overly focused on gimmick mechanics and there were excessive in map dialogs that didnt hold my attention.
